Gotta use the handshake taser too. It has secured me so many eliminations against aggressive players. Especially Batman.
been trying to get better with it recently, I think it’s probably the highest potential move in his kit

That attack is also pretty good on the edge I get free kills by edge guarding with it in 2v2s
2:56 you can also just jump to cancel this opposed to using stamina also 4:30 these are dash attacks, and you can do one instantly by double tapping the left stick in a direction and then pressing the attack button
I just found out there’s a lot of niche tech with jokers wild perk like for instance throwing out jokers first diamond card and then switching twice. Will get get the three cards to be one explosive into regular on his spade card. This only works if you haven’t thrown out two cards before hand most likely viable in/early game. It also seems that if you throw the diamond card and don’t switch. The boomerang card will turn into a instant bomb card. Also his spade card is bugged. Sometimes you will get three cards, including the bomb or just regular card Still trying to figure out more tech for Joker love the video by the way that’s some really good insight on how to play him more
Hey y'all I just found something very useful the flower (neutral special air) breaks projectiles. At least I used it to break bugs safe and forward rocket I'll test it on more things!

You’re talking about the dash attacks we’re all still getting used to them
he is four lightyears ahead of us
His neutral special is a good kill move to deal with rushdown characters. Using it as a parry works really well just gotta get the timing right
For anyone who doesn’t know already, if you want to insta-dash attack, all you have to do is traditional fighter dash activation (ex. -> -> input) plus attack

Steve universe is actually deadly
If you use the shock field perk and are on the ground for 4 seconds it pairs with the flammable for a whopping 25 damage punish in jokers spade triple card just from a card throw, pair that with his cannon that applies burn and you can deal alot of status just for controlling the fight
so much info i had no idea about, bro took a break and is still the goat
you can do his air side special twice and with his pogo stick right after use his down special in the air(gas move) it knocks them up and you can use balloon or up air.
dash attack tip; you can instant cast it by double pressing a movement direction and on the second input press light attack so you dont have to sprint.
I find that doing the first input as a tap and then the second one as a hold + attack input works 100%.
Lastly, if you have your attacks set to your right joy stick, lets say you're sprinting, and you dont want to do a dash attack, i like to input the opposite movement direction on my left stick and in the other direction on my right. you cant go from a sprint to an instant stop unless you input the opposite direction ur character slows down and would still dash attack.

There is a button already, it's called dodge; there isn't a more punishable thing in this world that dodging someone who is just pressing all the buttons and pray that works
Jokers down special would be really great vs Taz .. either the cannon or jack in the box would make his offense pitiful

I have to say, I didnt know abt the fact u could cycle cards but I also must say u are not utilizing joker to his fullest potential. Couldnt help but notice u dont use jokers nspecial air, nspecial or change jokers cannon into a jack in the box which can be done by instead of pressing special to unleash it u press light attack. not to mention ur balloon usage isnt the best rn but im sure ull get used to its uses soon. keep it up man

stripe is all about vertical juggling, focus less on horizontal combos and more on keeping your opponent off the ground, you can be realllly annoying to fight on stripe

for sure, but not until I can confidently say who goes where. I think it’s too early right now for anyone to really know where every character is, most people are only confident on the placement of a few strong fighters
