The white undershirts for 3,50 EUR at Zeemann are litterally the best ones out there. Every time i'm in Berlin I buy a few more. Some of them i've had for 15 years and washed probably hundreds of times, and they are still in perfect shape!
Thrifting is already getting known to the main stream. I grew up knowing about estate sales and vintage shopping "secrets" I have also had the thoughts that I don't want alllll the secret stashes to find the niche styles being shared, then I realized there is an endless amount of clothing in the world and as long as people are dying and there collections being sold (estate sales) there will always be plenty and MORE!!!!! Let's not get greedy now.
For eliminating odor: put an item and a couple handfuls of grounded mustard seeds in a plastic bag, tie it, and leave it be for a day or two. Usually does the trick
ok wow never heard of this and will try with an old Trenchcoat that I have. I even gave it to cleaning, but it’s super old so the smell didn’t get out still. Thanks for the amazing tip Valentina!
If you love Japanese brands I recomend you Gaijin Paris, it is an amazing vintage store located in the Marais. The owner is an amazing person with a great fashion sense!
Hi Tuba!! How nice to talk to you!! I’m longtime follower of your channel! Hope you will update your channel more often😂 Strangely your taste and choice of fashion is totally much and I really agree your comments!! By the way! I’m Japanese lady living in Milan and working fashion field fo long time. I admire your courage of sleek styling/mental! 🎉 Gogo!! Talk to you soon!
I like minimalist and even futuristic style and it’s not easy to find those pieces, especially in vintage stores. But if you don’t mind altering your vintage finds they can look so stylish in the end. I have same obsession for socks too. I am always on the hunt for natural fibre like wool, cashmere blend aesthetically pleasing socks.
Vintage is truly a universe of possibilities, fabrics are sometimes easier than finding good cuts and design tough, but 90s are usually beautifully fitting 💕 and yes, socks are amazing, just got my first pair of cashmere ones and I’m def not disappointed ☺️
@@tubaavalon Yes early 90's American brands had shape and fit- and better quality- it did get repeated in the 2000 in a mod/futurism style. It is getting harder to fied these pieces now in North America due to age & partly I think because they are getting shipped to Europe.
I feel the same when it comes to vintage smell. Since 14 yrs I've been obsessing on grandpa/army clothes so most of these clothes have a certain smell but nowadays the smell of clothing are getting worse so im that person who smells it before buying anything unless it's really really a great find. My last vintage smelling purchase was a Gianni Versace shirt. Not Versus, not Donatella not Versace but a Gianni Versace find haha I wanted that shirt since the 90s and found it but because of the smell I thought you know what I'll make someone else happy with it. I have faith that I will find it again. Here's a tip to get rid of vintage smell. Fill a small spray bottle with diluted white vinegar or cheap alcohol. I myself mix it with a bit of bicarbonate. Lightly mist your leather/jacket on the inside and outside (do not drench) Hang the item outside (weather permitting) or near an open window to dry. Finish with a coat of leather conditioner to maintain the softness of the leather jacket. There's this organic leather conditioner which doesn't have a smell. You can get it in naturalia or any other organic store. Make sure its for all colors. There are more obscure vintage stores in Paris people don't know. I miss your shorter bob hair. Oh and at the huge Leclerc store they have these light rings with standards are quite cheap if u need more light. ❤
Hahaha your comment on my hair killed me, because I just cut it YESTERDAY again. You feel me. And your tips on how to get rid of the smell sounds amazing, great for everyone who struggles or doesn’t purchase like me because of that. Thank youu!
@@tubaavalon ohhh can't wait for ur new video to see it. Just don't go outside with wet hair. If u have time go to a pharmacy and check out Furterer's hair products. Everything is good. I promise. There's this finishing spray it's out of this world. Smell is amazing.
Hello hello hello hello ❤️ Finding even one special piece of simplistic vintage in Los Angeles is a nightmare. Plus prices can be shocking. Treasure a place like Obscure!
I am absolutely in love with Davis. Could not have worked out better for Ferragamo. And so happy they trusted a younger emerging designer, shows that trust pays off!
P. S. Piano sounds or anything classical is fine when you are talking and when you are changing clothes. I get annoyed quick by people's music choices either it doesn't fit with the images or its just too loud. And there's this thing when people post Paris videos they automatically add croissants shitty songs. You don't have to. I like classical, 80s,techno, disco some French and rain sounds. 😊
Music is so important, thank you for the proof. I feel like nobody cares these days and everybody is using literally Jingles, whereas we can show our personality so well with music as well.

Yes to a music focused video! Also would love a video on the most worn pieces in your wardrobe :)
Most worn would be so easy, I just thought it’s not interesting, but great idea!
Love all those Japanese designers, please more of these❤!

Actually all Furterer's products are amazing. This is not an ad. Haha
I loved L' obscura when I found it during my trip. They were so sweet and I could tell they put a lot of thought into everything in the shop.
absolutely and they don’t care about sales but about quality, I sensed that
The green light was actually a cool accent !
The paper wrap turns bag from the store is so cute! And can't wait to see you try more Japanese brand, Tuba
love thoughtful and practical things that look beautiful on top. let’s not forget about the beauty in simple things.
hi👋 I checked on the internet and it says that it’s closed… do u have any idea if it is true, have u been there recently ?

I’m uploading weekly now 🧚♂️ and have a good time with your socks, they’re the best 🥹

What is the name of the store again?

The nickname of tank top you described that your dad wears is called a "Wife Beater"
omg hahaha that explains so much now..lol
@@tubaavalon Yea, you can Google the reason for it. 50 Cent made it popular with rappers for a minute. Before Asap, Migos and Kanye.
Haha I wear them the smallest men size
As a japanese margiela fan, I didn't expect to see MUJI and Uniqlo in this video.
haha very sorry to disappoint, it’s the store that has a great selection with margiela 🫠
I'm curious to know your opinion on Ferragamo...I feel like everyone is talking about them right now
