- Geometrica - The Mandala Drawing App For Tattoo Artists
I am always looking for things to make my job easier and to make my work better. When I found Geometrica it was defiantly one of those things! Drawing mandalas and patterns on my iPad before was a bit of a pain but the Geometrica drawing app has made that progress so much more simple!

Love your videos bro!!
thank you for showing this app, it was really helpful
I wanted to get into mandalas, so ill definitely check out this app. but I wonder why something like procreate is a 10 one time fee, and something like this is 10 monthly
Don't do it lol... Procreate has some of those same drawing assist features to where u can draw mandalas just find YT tutorials by people who only teach procreate because they know all the things 😉
Awesome video! Would love to see a more in depth tutorial video! Thanks for sharing!
Súper cool
These videos are very useful. Thanks. Good lookin out.
No problem!
Looks like a great app, worth the monthly fee. I am definitely going to look into it. Thanks for the great content, as always.
It really is !
Glad you like the videos, thanks for watching
Amaziograph, look it up
i downloaded this immediately after this video was watched. I have to say, it is amazingly great at quick, easy mandala tattoos, and also shading/whip shading is nice to show clients what it 'would' look like.
After a couple days in cell not having shit or the side effects been coming on lately. But no worries. You guys were perfect.
I use an app called “Amaziograph” for my mandalas, cost me like £2 but it’s nothing like procreate! Might just have to get this app instead! Love the videos man, keep up the good work! Much love from the UK!
I’ve heard of that. Never tried it before tho !
It’s ok, just nothing like procreate so took a while to get used to it
Thank you for this Video. I would Love to see more in Another Video. I use procreate but i will get geometrica too now. Greetings from Germany
No problem! I think the combo of them both is perfect !
Awesome video ✌🏻
Thanks !
Super, Please NEXT video
Wondering what kind of i pad pen you are using in this video? Are the all mostly the same or are there advantages to using a certain one? Thanks man, great video!
its just the gen 2 with a cover on
Very helpful thank you. 😊👌🇦🇺
No problem !
It looks like a Great app for sure, and a no-brainer (a Timesaver) for Tattoo artist that is their target customers.
But if they changed it from the subscription model to a 1-time payment.
Then I think they would get way more people to use it
and in the end, earn more money on it.
Since it is a subscription-based I will not use it, since for me it is just drawing for fun, but I would not mind paying 14-20 USD for it
I csn only speak for myself. But, it was a huge help in a topic, was almost has driven me crazy. Thanks to you, I'm good to go😅
By the way, how you edit your clips and present your topics, it's very comfortable to watching your videos. Keep that good work going. Much love from Germany ✌️
Thank you for the compliment! :)
Genuine question, can you not do this in Procreate with the Drawing guide tool? I am not sure if it scales like this one though
You can to a point. It’s very limited tho
@@ThatTattooGuyOfficial Ah, I figured as much. The program looks pretty nifty!
It needs a little polishing over all but I think it’s worth it for sure
Thanks for the knowledge u share .
No problem !
como sew llama la app
Can you use this and take the file and use it into procreate after? Do they use png files?
Yes you can! I export from geometrica to procreate all the time with png
I'm computer illiterate but its a cool app. I'll just draw that stuff instead.
App passed down from generation to generation by the Cambodian Buddhist monks...
Lol
Pos lene to programa
Lines are terrible in this app thats the only annoyance for me but everything else is pretty awesome
Terrible app apart from the rotational tool Procreate is far superior
If you are comparing it to procreate for just drawing yes it doesn’t stack up, but what it is made for it works incredibly
@@ThatTattooGuyOfficial I can achieve the same outcome with procreate and I don't have to pay a monthly subscription to do so artists newer days getting too greedy
@@adambeecham8511 how do you get the repeating patterns?
@@ThatTattooGuyOfficial I just alter my rotational line as I move around takes seconds
@@adambeecham8511 whatever works for you man. To me that sounds like a pain
Considering that procreate was like £5 to own for life. I think this app is way overpriced. You will spend hundreds on this app over a few years and never actually own it. That is a shame.
Amaziograph, does all of this, and it’s 1 dolar singe purchase. No subscription
Whattt nice! I have to check that out! Thank you
@@ThatTattooGuyOfficial the only thing it doesn’t do is the stippling thing, i mean, it actually does, but not as good as this one, but all the rest it’s exactly the same.
Eh that’s not a must anyway
Amaziograph does have these two functions (which are the most basic functions in Geometrica) but it doesn’t go up to 200 segments for the mandala tool. It also doesn’t have the many other features that weren’t shown in this video. You can check out multiple full tutorials on how to use Geometrica to its full potential on their UA-cam page! It’s definitely worth the money. A year is paid for in one tattoo.
whats up man we just launched our tattoo youtube channel and love your stuff! Check us out if you have a minute and let us know what you think!
