I miss Gary McSpadden’s heartfelt songs of praise and worship. His voice is peaceful, calming and lifts up my soul, making Praise to Jesus a sweet offering.
Thank you, Father for blessing me through Gary.

Played this at my mother’s memorial service. Spirit of the Lord fell mightily.

    In this very room
there's quite enough love for one like me,
    And in this very room
there's quite enough joy for one like me,
    And there's quite enough hope
    and quite enough power
    to chase away any gloom,
    For Jesus, Lord Jesus ...
    Is in this very room.
    In this very room
there's quite enough love for all of us,
    And in this very room
there's quite enough joy for all of us,
    And there's quite enough hope
    and quite enough power
    to chase away any gloom,
    For Jesus, Lord Jesus ...
    Is in this very room.
    In this very room
there's quite enough love for all the world,
    And in this very room
there's quite enough joy for all the world,
    And there's quite enough hope
    and quite enough power
to chase away any gloom, For Jesus, Lord Jesus ...
    Is in this very room.

Pretty much the ultimate "inspirational" format singer. "In This Very Room" was recorded several times, but his production is simply fabulous. He took whatever group he was with to a new level.

I agree. Producer extraordinaire Greg Nelson did this album, who produced all of Sandy Patty, Larnelle Harris, and Steve Green albums to name a few.

Many thanks, robbase, for your wonderful melodious song selections. Love this song. We were blessed with this particular song to feel the Lord's presence in trying times.

I stumbled on this rendition of In This Very Room and I'm crying. I worked with Gary McSpadden on occasion and this is just ultimate singing...and ministering! Does anyone know how to contact his wife? I have lost touch with these wonderful people.

Also written by the genius Kurt Kaiser.

Kurt was a genius, but this song was written by Ron & Carol Harris.

@@maryackert655 oh thank you. My bad. I should know this as I have the original vinyl record from the early 80s when he came to our church.
