I got mine 2 days ago.. I loved it right off the bat.. I did what I always do, take it apart, clean it and add my lube of choice (KPL). I put it back together and ran it over a leather strop.. now this knife is up there with $400 folders.. (imo).
I'm actually holding off on this until the Lander 2 comes out. Would love to see a comparison of those. Both in s35vn. Would also want to see how the quality and finish of the Lander 2 is as i was disappointed with my 1. I do love Kizer though so got my fingers crossed!
I'm gonna hold off until they (hopefully) release a diff blade shape, i'd LOVE to see this as a sheepsfoot or wharnny. I dig the philosophy behind it tho!
No not at all, when I managed to catch it in my first impressions video I was jamming my finger in there and trying to catch the blade, nothing I would ever do in real life
I’d like to see a shark 🔒 knife with optimally treated magnacut with a a blue anodized lock to make it look more shark like make the blade thinner behind the edge too if we are splitting hairs…… I think I made a funny 😅
I used to pine for the PM2, the AD20.5, and the RL Stitch. I now pine for the Arcade and the RL Stitch. The Arcade just looks great to me, and especially the Void Black handle with stonewashed blade, which also kinda shares the same color scheme of the legendary dog Pokémon Raikou! 🐶 😸 ⚡️ More seriously, I’d been thinking of getting a Vision FG just to get a bigger knife with a different lock than my KCE Kizer Swagg’s Sway Back. But lately I’ve been thinking that saving for something just a bit nicer is probably the way to go. The only question I really have is whether I also want to get a purple backspacer for it, too, to add even more color and protect the blade a bit more, tho I would be nervous about my first disassembling of a knife when it would also be the most expensive knife I’ve ever owned. 😅
You can easily tap it for left handed carry yourself, unless you are a knucklehead. They tapped it below the scales with treads and all you gotta do is pop a 3/16 hole through the scales. Match them up and pop it through.
@@wesleysnider2915”Flytanium suggests it” they’re not gonna tell you to do something to intentionally tank your warranty. It says so right on their site “Deep Carry Pocket Clip (reversible with easy modification or let us know in your order notes and we'll add the lefty hole)”
Got the Arcade delivered yesterday, opened the box and immediately knew it was going back to Flytanium. The shark lock flipper was almost razor sharp and couldn't open or close it without it digging into my finger. Requested an RA, boxed it up and sent it back for a refund...and I didn't request a replacement. I have no interest in the shark lock whatsoever.
I have the ultem one and the aluminum is tapped for left handed. So you simply need the insert tapped. It could be done with a drill.

I’ve been seriously considering this one because of all the customization u can do with it
Do you think CRKT will make the shark lock affordable for the ... uhm ... for the reasonable person?
Nice review. Very glad to hear that the handle did not bother at all
I was hoping to hear what you think of how close the blade tip is to being exposed. Any issue with that?

I really hope they do this in a different steel. 20cv or magnacut
Glad it was done well. Looks very basic design wise. Might wait for a good sale on this one
What would be better to get, the ad20.5 in g10 or this flytanium knife? I have a full size ad20 but also want a smaller shark lock knife.

Thanks for sharing bud!👊🏻
I like this knife. I got it from White Mountain Knives for $179.10
Really I thought bladeHQ was the only retailer to carry it?
Great review. I’m gonna pick one up

But what happens then with the warranty?
Flytanium suggests it or upon ordering leave a note and they will do it for you.
@@Joshua-lx4ck I know that, but you recommended to do it by yourself, that can cost you the warranty.

Is the arcade titanium??
This really is a good looking knife. If its as smooth as the vision fg super lock, id be game.

I want one, hopefully someone will make fat carbon inlays for it.
They make great titanium scales and go with aluminum scales, weird. Not a deal killer, but strange.
More will come for shure, so they can make more money out of it.
Might have been a price issue as well, not wanting their first folder to come out at an astronomical price.
Is anyone else waiting for WMK to get these in stock?
They came and went already at WMK my dude.
@@Stahlwerk88 ha, that makes sense 😕😅
it just doesn't tickle my pickle...a different blade shape might though...
I like it, but not the budget looking clip.
No doubt there will be more steels coming, aka magnacut
I like everything except for the chalky feeling on the metal. That is where they lost me.
das some perrdy mycorduh
Looks fun but don't need it
oof wtf thats aluminum
Kizer Militaw looks like the same knife
No or doesn’t
