I also like the other piano concertos and the Russian rhapsody of Bortkiewicz!
A pity his concerto are not performed almost anymore!

The performers did a great job, nicely played a music which deserves it ! But I there are so few people in the audience, what a shame ! Such a rare music is given and there's almost nobody to enjoy it ! Fortunately you are there at least !

I like all Bortkiewicz romantic concertos and his russian rhapsody. Nice themes and
melodies in the style of Rachmaninow. Again a forgotten composer! What a pity!
To see the score, search for "(Doniga, Porcelijn)". Meanwhile, move over Rachmaninoff, you have competition!

Музыка, конечно, интересная. Но, по-моему, партия оркестра чрезмерно симфонизирована композитором и подминает под себя функцию рояля. Диалог так до конца и не выстроен. Если бы автору пришло в голову оркестровать рояль, то вышла бы замечательная симфония. Но - что сделано, то сделано.
