  • The Gap Resthouse, Rumah Rehat in Frasers Hill, Malaysia. Along with it's generational caretakers, yet still hanging on to it's colonial charm. Sadly it is now derelict and in ruins. A sad end to such a wonderful resthouse with such a rich history. Once a place of tranquil rainforests with giant hornbills flying over the mist covered canopy and echoes of siamang monkeys howling in the background. Soon afterwards, the little house on the left of The Gap with the little black and white fireplace, was demolished to make way for a carpark. Sadly, that little house had quite a history, and was written about a the book called 'The Jungle is Neutral' by F. Spencer Chapman.
