When descending, you can also use the 3 degree "technique" :
    1. You take your altitude and multiply it by 3
    2. You divide your result by 1000, that's your distance from when you should start your descent (so if my altitude is 33.000 feets I should have a descent when I'm 99NM from my destination)
    4. Take your speed and multiply it by 5 (or multiply it by 10 and divide by 2) (so for example if my speed is 200knt I will have a descent rate of 1000 ft/min)
    5. You have your descent rate in ft/mins. To have it in ft/s, just divide by 60
I will excuse myself in advance for my english that can be sometimes not perfect as it's not my main language

You don't have to enable toga at takeoff. Realisticly, most of the time planes takeoff at 80% throttle. It's only if there is in coming traffic, or if there is a problem with the aircraft. :)

    How i think:
When taxiing, i prefer (in msfs) going on
-taxiways near the apron - 5-8gs
-taxiways not near the apron - 8-10gs
-taxiways paralell to rw - 20gs
    -backtracking rw - 20-30gs
(its just my opinion, configurated for clear weather, in thunderstorms, rains you can change it)
Turn the landing light on rwy, sometimes airlines change it.
Mostly you should stop on the runway, configurate the aircraft, takeoff briefing. But on airports with dense traffic sometimes "rolling takeoff's" are performed - You do all of those things on taxiway and do like in video.
The vs isn't set to some value, just like you prefer, also the end, whenever you want. (If ur flying big aircrafts sped i prefer to change the vs in settings to fpm, its the value in real commercial aircrafts)
No need to maintain the cruising alt so close, 50ft offset doesnt change anything
When you flown downwind at the destination airport, in IFR you should be way highier, around 7000ft, again every airport customizes it, has its stars
5:18 the height you are (1100ft) is very critical, im pretty sure that GPWS would start reacting with pull up
The gears should be retracted around 3 nm at final to be prepared how the aircraft behaves at landing, also you did a very short final as for ILS
5:48 The retard speed is random, no set value when
While landing try to maintain the centerline, when in crosswind, stop doing the crab position (the drift) around at flare, so 10ft. Also try to land at the touchdown zone (the white markings on the sides

For takeoff, I like to hold shift the. Hold H as it slows down the speed you rotate at
    To make the takeoff smoother

I don't know it feels wrong to be pointing the nose down to descend, it almost feels like cheating the descent path or something

    • @sped2800
      @sped2800  Рік тому +3

It is common for a plane to drop the nose for a descent. The pitch is exaderated to fit aeronautica's airport separation.

Also, no flying faster than 250 kts below 10.000 feet. Just a general rule that many airlines use to reduce noise.
