M2 bluetooth speaker SCAM

I got these M2 speakers, and was just going to try to fix them up, because one was reversed at the speaker. But then I found out that the specs are way different then what the box or the advertising claims.
These M2 speakers are very popular (and cheap) right now, and they do work (with poor sound), but some sellers do get very carried away claiming features and powers, that simply aren't there. I don't mind slight exaggeration, but things like 17 missing watts out of 20, 50% speakers missing, or a waterproof feature that's just simply not there, make it a scam. And that's just the top of the iceberg.

It's funny how every seller is trying to outfake the others by adding more bogus claims ....
But I actually managed to buy the ones with the most outrageous claim available.

Great video - this was my speaker up until recently, had it for 8 months till the charging port was slightly damaged (my fault). I replaced this with a Tronsmart T6 Mini (priced the same) only then did I notice the difference in quality. TBH I was happy to have something I could conveniently listen to music and radio on though I now feel a little cheated with the price. $10 on Aliexpress? These are £25 on Amazon.

The main chip is marked JL AS19AP24177 (from what i could make out) that appears to be a generic chip from www.zh-jieli.com
But I did not get any further.

Also I have a reason why they are doing that they are out of phase from the manufacture you should send them back as it should never happen however any speakers can do this it and that cancel each other out as in one of Garret clarages speaker blowouts he mentioned this. Hopefully this can help with the noise cancelling :D

Mine is stuck on bluetooth mode repeating that every 10 seconds after dropping it in the shower, anyone know how to turn it off or shut it up? PLEASE??? No buttons work and it is keeping everyone awake all night long!!!!

They are loud for 3Watt speakers, but not in a good way. If your player has an equalizer you can fix that to some extent.
