New beer collaboration has real appeal

Fightin’ Hokies Orange Wheat is the newest beer collaboration between Virginia Tech’s Department of Food Science and Technology and Hardywood Park Craft Brewery in Richmond, Virginia. Virginia Tech’s partnership with Hardywood brings innovative food science research to market and also shares the proceeds with students in the form of scholarships, experiential learning, and research opportunities.
