I bought 2 sets Lego Wedo 2.0 but they stay in their boxes. I have tried all versions of Windows (Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10), 3 versions of Android (strarting from version 4.4.4) but the software simply doesn't work. On Win 7 and 10 , it cannot install. On win 8 and 8.1, software can be installed but t I couldn't connect the SmartHub via Bluetooth. Then, I tried installing it on a friend's iPad and everything worked fine. So, for the moment, if you work on a Windows or Android environment, just forget it...

We expect new updates available for several operating systems within the next couple of weeks. We bought this 170 Euro product and the cursory information that comes in the bin are so poor that is impossible to find the building instructions! The website is pathetic and the seller does not answer the phone. In case you wander what's my background, I have been working with computer over 4 decades.

Windows 10 32 bit - not working at all - incompatibile message - even then when i run in "compatibility mode windows 7" 2. Android - I have 6 devices with android (eaven android 5+) and all my device are incompatibile in google play 3. Windows 8.1 ARM - YES YES I installed with success, but there is no possible to remove block of program because on place where just before was block now i see shadow of block and can't remove it. BUG! I'm wonder - is iOS only one environment where WeDo 2.0 works? All of your promotional film show iOS. Lego can you code good working software at all? Now your software is one big joke! I have to return WeDo 2.0 to seller, until You repair your software. I will try next year.
+abakusso We are sorry for your experience. We just recently discovered this issue. At this time, the Windows 10 operating system does not fully support the Bluetooth connection to our hardware (Smarthub) and is therefore not providing an optimal user experience. We are working on a solution to solve this issue.
I bought one set last week. My son was so excited. But I have the similar problems as described. I tried several computers with Windows 8.1 systems. The software cannot detect the smart hub. It's so frustration. I called the tech support. He asked me to download the software from Windows store. But it's another nightmare. I found it, but even I deleted all the components of the software from my computer, the Windows Store kept telling me that the software is installed. I called Windows, and the guy said I had to use a "paid" service to get the problem solved. I called the Lego Custom service, and she said I cannot returned the product since it was opened. So the solution I figured is to buy a iPad! I cannot believe it!!!
+Yuxing Ben After over 10+ trials including deleting the software from the computer and installing it, it works finally. For Windows 8.1, you have to download the software right from the Windows Store. Otherwise, it won't work.

I've faced similar issues with Windows 10. I could make it work with an Android tablet (Lenovo A10-30, with Android 5.1 and Bluetooth 4.0)

what operating system will this run on? I see that the software is intended to run on a tablet, but will it work on all tablets
