It's actually a Bulgarian battle marche song exactly for the battle against the Ottoman empire and our liberation. So you saying that it's actually ironic. Perhaps it's sound that way because it's in Nightcore version, and all the song in this version sound like they've been played by the Chimpmunks. The original version is far more better and powerful. You can give it a listen if you want. Cheers.
