దొరబావి వంతెన .. బహుశా ఆంధ్ర ప్రదేశ్, ప్రస్తుత తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రాలకి ఈ వంతెన గురించి తెలిసి ఉండకపోవచ్చు. కానీ బ్రిటీష్ వారికి ఈ వంతెన ఎంతో ప్రతిష్టాత్మకం. అప్పట్లో పనిచేసిన రైల్వే కూలీలకు ఈ పేరువింటే హడల్. మరి ఈ వంతెన ఆషామాషీ వంతెన కాదు. ఊగే వంతెన.

The Railways should have preserved it as heritage site. I traveled in that route a few times from Nandyal to Guntur.
Also, while going from Nandyal to Giddalur by road, this bridge used to present a beautiful sight.
The short sighted thinking of Railways, deprived us of a beautiful heritage structure!!

Bridge removal time lo Nandyal M.P. Bhuma Nagi Reddy. Why are you blaming P.V. Narasimha Rao. And at that time P. M. was Vajpayee... Railway ministers were Mamata Benergee after Nitish Kumar.
