This camera has filmed while underwater, in a pile of snow, at temperatures above 120F and even worked in -25F frozen environments (as long as you scrape the ice layer off the front before you start recording).

Yeah. As long as the wifi on the camera is on, you can use the remote in areas without wifi.

Any idea what it can be when it's not able to get synced? I tried hard reset of camera and tried the complete procedure without any succes. the picture with the two arrows that are moving keeps posted on the screen and unfortunately no check box or indication that it's synced...could use some help / advice

Make sure you are setting up a NEW wi-fi connection for the RC REMOTE, and then make sure the wi-fi for the camera is on.. start the connection process on the camera first and then hold the remote buttons as I do in the video. Sorry I can't be more descriptive but I haven't had to do this for a while.

Sometimes it takes a minute to connect, but if it doesn't connect at all sometimes then I'm not sure what to do because I don't know how to reset it. Just go to the GoPro website and give them a call, they'll probably be able to help you.

Honestly, I'm not sure how to fix that. My best guess for you would to go to GoPro's website and give them a call or send an email. They have good customer service so getting your issue resolved shouldn't be a problem.

To be honest, I'm not sure. It may be your internet, but like I said, I'm not sure. My best advice for you is to look for a solution on the internet or contact Dell, and see if they can help you.

If the blue light is flashing that is because wi-fi is on. Turn your wi-fi off by holding the button, you will see the blue light flash about 7 times and then it should stop.

Yes. When you get your camera there is a piece of paper saying to update your gopro. So go to gopro.com and do the update, I have a video showing how.

Make sure the remote is plugged in and the display will say "remote battery" with a battery icon filling up. Hope I explained it well enough.

You can use a program called FormatFactory, which allows you to convert audio, video, and pictures. Do you have a movie editing software?

Hy! One question I would like to know if the wifi remote that goes also with the wi-fi BacPac (so it's for hero2) it could go in the hero 3 (the wifi remote)

That is how the camera is.. my gopro does the same thing... there's no way around it that I know of.
