One day Kevin is option trading, one day he’s house hack real estate, one day he’s starting a podcast, one day he’s learning to fly a plane, one day he’s staring his own etf, the next day he’s running for governor, next day he’s selling your courses, the day after that he’s getting his financial advisor degree…. THIS MAN IS SICK. NEEDS PROFESSIONAL HELP BADLY.
“Obituaries are fascinating because they tell us not only about the person who died but also about what we as a society value in other people. Often, what we value in other people is exactly what kills them in the first place.” Gabor Mate MD
Honest take. Was similar to a degree up until getting meningitis at 34 (result of years of burning too hot with ramping career and building family); took a couple more years but ultimately realized we’d ‘made it’ and were going to stop taking our health for granted. If it’s anxiety driven for Kevin, then for his sake, I hope he finds peace before some as acute as an abrupt wk long stint at the hospital on the edge of life occurs like it did for me.
I believe Kevin may be a workaholic, it’s something I’ve had to deal with as well in therapy. It makes you feel like you can always do more and push more and never really satisfied or content. In the end it ends up hurting your relationship with family and friends.
