Loving the Jam n Cheese show. I look forward to it each week. Also, Much respect to Brandon for getting through a rough patch without too much bullshit. Many an NRL star has been through crap and failed to come out a better version of themselves, so credit where credit is due. He's playing well again and looks happy. Good on him.
The marketing for International Rugby League is rubbish. The turnout for the Kiwi vs. Kangaroo Final was embarrassing due to the lack of effort in the buildup. Look at the effort put into Origin. Kiwi vs. Kangaroo games have a history, legacy, and rivalries that could be leveraged to hype up the international game. The only difference between Origin and a Kiwi vs. Kangaroo game is the level of marketing effort. They keep calling Origin the pinnacle, but it can't be the pinnacle if it's not the best vs. the best. A good starting point might be for the Kiwis to say that the Aussies don't understand representing their country because they only care about Origin. Stir up some rivalry, sling some mud, and get some feeling going.
Pretty sure chriton is only 23yrs old. Sounds like cheese was able to have a bit more fun with Bellyache than Robbo. Bellyache seems like he can joke & laugh at himself a bit more than Robbo. I get the impression Melbourne Storm may allow their players to have a bit more individual personality than the roosters
Some NRL fans don't give a shit about who NSW play or who QLD play or who England play or who Tonga play or who the friggin' Cook Islanders play. They just want an NRL competition that's not interrupted for two months. Huge competitions like the NFL, the AFL and the NBA do OK without representative games. Why does Rugby League have to wear out it's players pretending it's an international sport? Play origin at the end of the year please.
My question is: Having read Monday's 'Opinion piece' by Dane Eldridge, how would you and Cheese respond if you were Nicho Hynes? "Hello darkness my old friend" was as low as I've seen, from one human to another. I watched the Sharks v Bulldogs game. It wasn't lost in the last minute - it was lost in the first minute. The Sharks co-captain, Cameron McInnes couldn't cope with the sound of the big Fijian and one of his props coming at him. And within 2 minutes the same Viliame Kikau had scored an easy try with two Shark players left looking like fools - neither of whom was Nico Hynes. (Could be tricky for you to ask this question on air - Mr Eldridge is employed by ??)
Nico Hynes is a little cry baby... he is paid a Million dollars for a reason. ICE those moments. he is a big boy 28 years old this year. time to step up, at this stage he is just a glorified ash taylor
Yep these ppl in the media make excuses for them so they run with it, Broncos are exactly the same atm everyone is making BS excuses for them so they play on it.

Staggs, Tago, Timoko, Penisini, Holmes
The centre drop off in 2024 needs to be studied
Only tago is having a bad year the rest of them are just performing how their team is performing
penisini has been awful. made Bradman best look like Steve renouf on the weekend
Noticeable...
If you could have any 5 different types of liquid come out of each finger on one hand, what liquids would you choose?
40 to 4 and you wonder why no one rocked up knowing the result was going to be something like that
