Beautiful vlog. Well done. I wish the family had money to renovate the place and turn it into a tourist site.

I think, this is part of what Seyi Makinde's govt should do .lt is an heritage& a tourist attraction. Also films or plays can be recorded there ,thereby generating revenue for the state &the family of late oba lrefin.Though when growing up we heard horrible information about the late oba &how he died.lbadan people need to do something about the building,no matter the case .

There was no Oba in Ibadan in 1912
That's the truth. The title of Olubadan was first used in 1936 during the reign of Oba Okunola Abass Alesinloye. Before 1936, the rulers of Ibadan were known as Baale.

I’m talking from history, the title Olubadan started in 1930 and before the it was Baale Irefin and after him we have Baale Shittu Latosa and then we started having Olubadan. According to history all the Baale is now regarded as Oba. So Irefin Ogundeyi automatically become an Oba
