Since then, every time I've gone back to the 2006 GM mode, he has been a mainstay floating in the upper-midcard to main event field. The point of this story is that 11 year old me was beyond ecstatic to see the love for Doug Basham after his incredible final stretch against Angle. NL really does make dreams come true!
