Love your work lads. A cool/helpful idea might be after going through the cards from each cycle, when making your final decklist, to make it fit with one or two of the archetypes. That way people can see the way the different archetypes and cards might interact with specific investigators, whilst also seeing the general staple cards for each investigator.
I don't intent to spoon-feed everything to the viewers; that being said I did try to put up the most generic but strong decklists I could for the investigators in this series.
From innsmouth, I think the riot whistle can be a decent lv0 accessory, just as a safety net for others. Book of psalms might be worth it if the hand slot is open, if only for the horror healing.
I also think it's good to mention that another great use for "Let Me Handle This" is that you can pick up enemies that would spawn at your cluever's location. (Also, curious what the "more awesome" patron rewards will be, any idea on when you clear those up? :) )
Hello there Just a small rule thing I noticed. I don't think the Timeworn Brand's second ability would let you attack at 10 with Mark. Rather at a still awesome 8 since the +2 Fight is only after the Fight keyword on the first ability. Still an extremely fun card!
I think, Defensive Stance can be semi-useful with PMP, which says: "Search the top 9 cards of your deck for a Practiced skill and commit it to this skill test, if able." Doesn't that mean, that if you only find a Practiced skill, you are not able to commit, you can at least keep it? Otherwise, it should be worded the same way as Copycat, so: "Search the top 9 cards of your deck for a Practiced skill you can commit to this skill test, and commit it."
When you say "this will keep Sophie happy" when you talk about True Grit, Armor of Ardennes, Guard Dog, etc., I feel like I ought to point out to anyone else reading this: You cannot assign the "direct damage" you take from Sophie to these assets. Without healing Mark, you reap the benefits Sophie offers 5 times. However, these are still very and do "make Sophie happy" in a less direct way; you can assign any sources of "non-direct" damage to them, which would otherwise take potential uses of Sophie away.
Might be better to trim these down a bit... Maybe you guys could restructure them to show different archetype packages instead of literally every card an investigator can take. Would be more coherent and certainly save a lot of time.
The length wasn't so much of an issue for me. But I think a tighter focus on building for the investigator would work. I understand going cycle by cycle, but it's a safe assumption that anyone playing Mark has at least the Core set and Carcosa deluxe in their collection. Instead of just showing the cards Mark can take, looking at how the cards work with each other could be really helpful for new players. A really simple example: Vicious Blow from the core set pairs really well with the .32 Colt from Carcosa, it boosts Mark's Fight (which the weapon doesn't do) and will total 3 damage. It's a single action solution to a 3 health enemy and a good way to maintain tempo.
We have videos already covering exactly what is being asked about. We have an entire playlist discussing archetype packages: ua-cam.com/play/PLXmf8-Jo8F-s-RfkEdEgGlxpNUIeA4khn.html We also have a playlist of new player guides, giving limited scope to players focusing on what interactions exist with just Mark and his cycle: ua-cam.com/video/nrW6gkTLU7g/v-deo.html In those videos, we had people asking us to do this for every card for each investigator, so that's what this video is focusing on. I know and don't expect all viewers to know all of the content we made, but just wanted to point you in the direction of our content that may be more what you're looking for.
An hour and a half. Yes Please. I'm all in for this content.
I've been waiting for these. Thanks Travis, Bryn, and Justin! You are the most enjoyable content creators for Arkham.
Thank you. :)
I will happily watch an hour and a half analysis of every single investigator. Keep it up!
Super keen for more of these complete deck guides. I cannot stress enough how helpful this video is for me
LOVE these long-form deck guides! I’m really looking forward to this series.
So much time and love for you guys, thanks for all the effort these must be!!
These deck lists for players with the entire collection has been very helpful! Thanks again, guys : )
I cannot overestimate how useful this video is. I watched it so many times!
Aaaa happy for the cycle! You're guys great content creators and awesome people 😊

good job guys! keep on it!

Great guide 👍, please make another investigator too 😁
Especially the odd one like calvin or preston
We'll be making one for all the investigators. :) Thanks for commenting!
@@PlayingBoardGames thank you 👍
stay healthty for all team
I think that is definitely Mark on marksmanship, I think the big monster in the background is the same monster on his weakness.

Good call! Had a little brainfart with all the Mark talking.
Think parallel investigators will get their own videos? They are certainly different enough from their original counterparts to justify it IMO.
Yes, they will be. Parallel Skids is going to be the first Rogue investigator we cover.
@@PlayingBoardGames can’t wait, parallel content is sorely lacking
Sorry didn’t hear what y’all said, too busy staring at Mark Harrigan’s jawline for the last hour and a half
You get it.
Hi guys, what about Reliable-Sophie? Is it legal?
Man, this must have taken forever to make.
After doing all of the investigators, is the idea to just to updates?
Yes, we'll be doing updates for all future investigators and the 10 who already got an "extended" look the first time (core/starter investigators).
@@PlayingBoardGames Sweet!
Amazng
Do a survivor event ranking please!
That is our video coming up next Sunday. :)
Everytime I see mark I always want him to be John Constantine xD
Thanks NOW I want to make a custom investigator
Whats the elder sign symbol for on the cards?
I like this content, thanks
Those are cards that can be found in our staples videos which are in the description
@@PlayingBoardGames ahhhh thanks much
Why is Custom Ammunition's scan so much better than all the others?
Luck of the draw with ArkhamDB.

Good call. It still puts the skill in your hand, which is better than whiffing.
@@PlayingBoardGames Thanks for confirming me. Was getting unsure, if we maybe were playing this card wrong.
Lets go Sexy Mark Harrigan!!!
you cant get away from Guts or The Big Man on Campus!

Hard disagree, I love this video. Like PBG already said before me, the stuff you're looking for is already in other videos. I love this deep dive
