I don't understand why no one is talking about this, but this mix of "It's Magic" by Pilot, a song from 1974, is absolutely amazing.
With a well-executed edit, this trailer got me incredibly hyped! Fantastic.
First thing I noticed - "It's Magic" was my favorite song when I was a kid - but stations never kept it going like similar older hits. So clever to use it for a holiday film.

This is a very good Christmas movie ! Funny , lovable and interesting. The graphics are great! One thing to note is that it’s not over bearing! Definitely a great catch for the kids and big kids ! Love you Eddie and Tracee! Merry Christmas to everyone
One of the best Christmas movies for 2023. Absolutely loved it and the fact that Eddie Murphy got Pentatonix to star in it as the carolers was the best choice he could ever make
@@Donkavision-sx4jsthe movie wasn’t even THAT bad. It was actually pretty funny, although there were some iffy moments, it was genuinely a fun movie. Especially not worth the 40% score on rotten tomatoes compared to the naughty nine which got a 72% (at least for audience)
Now, if they would just leave the fact alone that Santa Claus is white, I'd be okay. It's not rocket science. Santa claus is based off of a white a person so quit making him black.
There needs to be a sequel to Candy Cane Lane next year.

Big BOOO on this. This is such an ANTI-CHRIST Christmas movie. It shouldn't even be considered a Christmas movie, but rather a Winter Halloween movie because they literally kicked Christ out of Christmas in this one.

I just watched Candy Cane Lane, and it was probably the most unserious movie I have ever seen. I am not sure how I feel about it. Furthermore, why is it rated PG? There are countless sexual jokes from the moment the movie begins.

My favorite part was the ending, where Pepper got turned into a Christmas ornament and Chris now runs the shop.
This movie lost our attention when he was saying imagination was the reason for Christmas unless you wanna go the religious route and she said “Jesus? Uh no”
She actually said "Jesus Christ, NO". Not only used his name in vain but renounced our Lord's birthday. Jesus IS the reason for the season! That one line ruined the whole movie for me😢
So it was a play on words, but they were enforcing that it’s OK to be flippant with it. Yeah we turned it off after that too and ended up watching the star.
I actually enjoyed this movie! The mom was pretty great. I really like her communication skills. Amazing. But to see Eddie Murphy in action was the main highlight for me.
I think I swear Pentatonic was in it too as the singing ornaments trapped by Peppermint.
He picked the perfect truck to haul that tin of decor 🎄

I don't generally enjoy schmalzy Christmas movies but I have to say this one was alright. I had an enjoyable time watching it. It was a bit over long at 2 hours (they could have easily trimmed off 30 minutes of it). Jillian Bell as as the evil elf Pepper steals the show.

Santa Claus is not now nor has he ever been black. So quit changing Santa to be black.

This looks boring worse than those Hallmark Christmas movies. I haven't seen a good Christmas movie since Santa Claus, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, Home Alone, Scrooge 1951, and Miracle on 34th Street. The Christmas Chronicles (2018) on Netflix was enjoyable.
