During Form 5 I was at the infamous paikia or bad student class ( Last Class ), there was a science invention competition or whatever they named it. One of the students from the 'leader' class of my class gathered me and two other blokes to join the competition... Because we can skip class with a legit reason lmao. We created a shitty air conditioner by using a foam box, 3 bricks of dry ice (I still have no idea where the fuck I got those on my hand), 2 bottles of distilled water, and a high-power industrial-grade DC fan that will cut your finger, while the other competitor creates stuff like a portable small cutter, a solar-powered light made out of scrap, a microphone made out of paper, etc. When the judge drops by, the other will greet them like "Hello, I am xxx and this is my team and what we do," something usual and formal, while we, on the other hand, "Hello, nah Air Conditioner." (We did say a bit more, but I forgot about the details. But we did it in very non-formal and somewhat weird ways.) Because we didn't actually want to win but to get more skipping class tickets out of it. Time skip to 1 week later, we won second place (???). All the students clap for the winners, but when the moment announcer calls us out for the second place, people were too shocked to clap because they knew we were actually fucking around. Till this day, that shitty Air Con still on display in the main hall of my secondary school. On the day of graduation, one of the vice principals did mention this.. "5*7 were the worst class and the most resourceful and creative class I ever seen in my entire career." Remember kids, don't let the though of others effect what makes you YOU ;)
This reminded me of the time when I didn't study for English exam at school at all(because I got English tuition which is way higher standard so school English sap sap water) then when I got high marks, my classmates ask "How you get so high marks one de?". Me being lcly answered "Oh I learn English by playing computer games" and they were surprised haha feel like Desmond at that time.
