A Tik Tok video that showed how to reseal bottled water on a Carnival cruise Ship has now had the person banned for life with all Carnival Brand ships.
Royal caribbean has oversold a cruise ship again. Some Disney cruise line fans are not happy about one thing on their new private island that just opened.

We got back from a 7 day Alaskan cruise, 3 days ago.
Now, my wife and son are sick, and tested positive for C***d.
So far, I’m asymptomatic.
She absolutely should be banned for life and the other cruise lines should ban her too, or she might pull ig again!

The TIK TOK lady should be banned for life. That is just gross. You spend 2 to 4 thousand or more on a cruise and you are looking at ways to save 5 dollars on water. That lady is crazy.

That woman's sole purprose in posting that video was to brag about her ability to beat the system. Almost guaranteed she has an arrest record. Carnival has no choice but to keep her away from their passengers and merchandise

I’m glad you reported on the ban. That sort of behavior should definitely result in a ban. It should actually result in jail time, but a ban works.

JJ Cruises did a report from that new Disney Lookout Cay. You are correct about the excessively long dock with no shade or trams to take people back and forth. That is ridiculous. The other deal breaker about that place is the excessive amount of flies all around the food stalls. Landing on the food, being waved away by the attendants. Absolutely disgusting amount of flies. This is NOT ok. Almost as bad as that woman refilling the water bottles.

Should be criminal charges pressed, if there's evidence she did it on board - video time stamp, cabin identifier, etc. Good tampering is a punishable offense!
Were there any criminal charges for her? This was disgusting and I've seen videos of idiots drinking and eating foods from the grocery shelf and putting it back.
They should provide shuttles for more than just mobility challenged

She should be arrested. Not only can people use that to get "Free Water" But They could also put something in that water for the next traveler. From Laxatives to toilet water. HECK! They could even put Poison in it.

If I had taken my work vacation, paid airline tickets, a hotel room before, clothes, etc. I’d be furious if I was told sorry, can’t take this cruise. My daughter has to put in for her vacation 6 months in advance. New meaning for Guaranteed room.
That long bridge/dock on Disney's island would never work for us. My husband would not be able to walk that far so we'd have to stay on the ship unless they offered a transportation option for him.
I’ve drunk hotel tap water before and I’ve refilled a bottle first my own use but I’ve never left its contents for anyone else. That’s gross.
Re; Water bottles. Oceania got rid of the one-use plastic water bottles. They now give you an aluminum water bottle from Vero and have Vero filling stations around the ship.

2 of my friends of 50+ years and I are going on a Caribbean cruise with RCCL to celebrate a milestone bday we're all hitting in Spring, 2025. To choose the cabin we wanted over going with a "guaranteed" cabin only cost us a TOTAL of about $150 more, so about $50 a piece. To us, it's worth it to know we have our cabin and where it is, especially since 2 of us have to fly in. I can't imagine showing up to the terminal, only to be told your "guaranteed" cabin wasn't so guaranteed after all. I'll pay such a nominal fee all day long to keep that from happening.
We always choose our cabin, never let the line choose. Tampering with a sealed container, she should be criminally charged, not just banned.
Thanks Don, for updating all of us regarding the Tik Tok woman who thought it was a great idea to STEAL the water just so she didn't have to pay. Disgusting! I wouldn't want to be the next cruise guest and have that bottle of water. Where did she get the replacement water from? As you said, it might have come from the toilet.

Just saw Ben and David’s video about Lookout Cay and I’d say there are multiple issues like copious amounts of flies on the food🤮; 22+ minute walk from the ship (they timed it) and limited shade throughout the resort. I’m confident that Disney being Disney will address these issues quickly!

That walk to the new Disney island is a dealbreaker. Ben and David said it took 22 minutes and they aren’t slow.

If you spend thousands on a cruise, those bottles of water should be complementary. It’s ridiculous that customers are nickel and dimed to that extent.

Free cruise to reschedule is a great offer if you have the flexibility but last minute cancelation is very unfair for people who booked well out. Cruise companies should be held responsible for overbooking. What's wrong with having a standby wait list for cancelations instead of overbooking?

It was the Disney Magic, not the Disney Fantasy that was the first ship to stop at Lighthouse Point. Only reason that is important is the Magic only holds 2,700 passengers. The Fantasy holds 4,000 so the first ship there has about 25% few people.
Ariana Grande licked a doughnut in a bakery and put it back. The video was posted online. She thought it was funny. My kids don’t even think it’s funny.

Interesting that Royal Caribbean, at Perfect Day at CocoCay, where the pier is much shorter than Disney's, managed to create some shade for guests walking to and from the ship. And that story about the refilled water bottle just shows how rude and inconsiderate some people can be.
Princess Cay is building a really long pier also to walk off the ship.
The worst I have seen (not counting the man blowing his very fluey nose into a linen napkin in the buffet) with respect to food was last year on Majestic Princess in Australia. Princess hand chops butter for b'fast and puts it out for people to get with tongs, instead of providing hygienic packets. The butter, of course, gets softer the longer it is out until working a piece with tongs becomes very difficult. So the most disgusting thing was seeing a woman getting frustrated with the gooey butter stuck to the tongs, and then digging it off with her fingers and putting the fingerprinted tongs back for the next person.
Banned for life is acceptable for her actions. Cruise lines should work together and have a ban for life that's universal with each other.

I've gotten a few offers to move my cruise when I've been in a guaranteed cabin. They've always been quite generous. It was always a full refund for the original cruise plus usually onboard spending for the new cruise and cabin upgrades to either balconies or mini suites. They have to make them enticing to make people actually move.

I received the offer to cancel/change my June 14th Symphony out of Bayonne as well. Unfortunately, my daughter and her boyfriend are flying in to join us, so we could not take advantage of their offer.
The woman was wrong for tampering with the bottle, but the cruise lines are wrong to nickel and dime us for necessities like water. I'm old enough to remember the days when cruises sold as "all-inclusive", actually we're all-inclusive.
I disagree. The woman was not only wrong, she was morally, ethically, and criminally wrong. Let's not excuse her behavior based on the fact that cruise lines place water bottles in the cabin that are not complimentary.

Assuming a person is walking at a rather leisurely pace of 2.5 MPH and it take 15 minutes to walk the length of the Disney pier, the pier has to be about 3,000 feet in length. I have to believe Disney must have thought it cheaper to build out the pier than to dredge a channel closer to shore.
They may have been told they couldn’t dredge, or decided it gave them a buffer in tides.
we have been cruising over the past 20 years. My wife tells me our next one will be her last. She wants to try something different now..

I've seen many videos of people talking about the long walk at Disney Lookout Cay. I'm glad that person was caught, and I hope Carnival shares her name with the other cruise lines as well.
The place where the Venice, Italy ferry drops you for Marco Polo Airport also takes a good 5 to 8 minutes to walk to the airport.
I am sailing MSC in April 25 I am Bella experience but have had my cabin number for the past two months. MSC are frequently criticised but this is a plus.
Agree with the ban. Cruise lines should get together or the government and have a no sail list, similar to flying.

That woman should be banned from all cruise lines! I am on Symphony in August and would volunteer to re-book if I got a good offer. However, I book my own cabin, not guaranteed cabins,.

I've seen people try to get duplicate sealed bottles of water from gas station at hotels so they don't need to pay the 6.50 or whatever for one they have in room. Then get charged afterwards still.
Great idea. The people who book a GUARANTEED cabin are the first to be cancelled. Cruise executives flunked vocabulary in school I guess.

Just watched another vlog about Disney's newest private destination. The pier is just short of a half mile and logged a 9 minute walk. Then there is another 9-minute shuttle ride!! I think I'll pass!!

The Disney Island with the long dock is ridiculous especially seeing the number of children that are on those cruises. I imagine they will fix the problem, but it will need to be with transport primarily. But the island needs shade too. On another note, since people sometimes fly to cruises, we had an interesting situation leaving Vegas. They invited 8 people off the plane saying they could catch the next flight to Atlanta (the next stop) and a $500 voucher because the plane was too heavy. No, they don't weigh passengers, said there is an average weight for each passenger, but they couldn't indiscriminately start removing luggage, so they removed people. There were several happy takers!
