Whatever fits your foot best mate! Your position doesn't matter when looking at football boots, only what fits you the best. That being said, the predator edge boots are pretty stiff and aren't the best fitting, so keep that in mind!🤝
Do you think soaking the them in warm water then playing for 20-30 mins a few times would help? Torn between the edge + (I hear these a stiffer so it’s off putting) and the 1.
Btw I know you’ve mentioned it for this model the 1. But for the + model would it help do you think
I think it would work fine for the + as well! I'll be making a "long term break in video" as well like I did with the GT2 so I'll cover some of that stuff in that video 🤝

I'd start wearing them one session at a time! Make sure you don't hurt your feet, and use the hot water trick if you need to!🤝
Hot water or steam makes it better. Feels stiff on the midfoot. But steam and hot water makes it better. But unsure if it can lead to cramping due to the tightness

I haven't gotten a chance to wear them long term because they didn't fit very well straight out of the box... I tend to be pretty critical about boots right away, especially if I don't think they'll be a good fit!🤝

I think that diamond thing on the soles are actually kind of protection from abrasions. Sometimes when you play on a softer ground you toe box would sink deeper than your heels. That would scrape your toe box soles even more.

Hey man, saw a discount on the World Cup colorway and I really rigged that colorway, but I’ve hear a lot of reviews where this shoe doesn’t really convince a lot of people. Not sure what’s your opinion on buying this with a discount or buying the new predator accuracy instead. I’ve tried on the new preds and the upper was very soft. I didn’t try this on but I’m Kind of cautious about buying this shoes. Like you mentioned, the upper is stiff and just from looking at it they look stiff. So my argument for not buying this(to myself) is that I could just buy another mercurial instead of buying this preds if I’m not really going to enjoy them after testing them out. I don’t like the Speedportal because of the upper. I don’t want to regret spending the money just for a shoe that I think looks cool.
I would pay the extra money to get the Accuracy mate, it's more comfortable and objectively better in EVERY way. 🔥 If you enjoy wearing Mercs, the Vapor 15/Superfly 9 is a fantastic option as well!

i tried them on last time but I had a really hard time actually wearing them. it took me forever to get my leg inside, but my toe has room so I know its my size. they just feel to tight on the sides like there gripping too much on my feet. any ideas?

How does the boot being stiff affect performance?
They're very very very very stiff and uncomfortable out of the box. Less flexibility/pliability in the upper negates certain techniques in football where you might need to move your foot or toes in a certain way.
Do puma ultra 1.3 and Adidas X speed flow durable?
Both! Not as durable as a tiempo or another non-speed boot, but they've both been totally adequate in my opinion!
Don't go with ultras they are very thin not good.
had to unfortunately return them, just too much material in the mid-foot, i have narrow feet with high arches, definitely not for me. they look sick
For sure! I would agree mate - decent boots but really stiff and a thick upper that doesn't really stretch/mold much. 😂

My 11 year old has worn his demon skin a few times. The pain on his feet bring him to tears. I wish I could talk to someone at adidas. I'm going to be looking for another set of cleats

Usually it's less quality material and potentially not as aggressive grip elements on the upper! I'm not for sure on that though mate, I've never tried the .3 before.

I'm sure you'd be fine with 45 1/3 mate, I'd try them on before you buy or get 2 pairs and keep whichever one fits best! 🔥

I have been wearing boots for a while, have to say that these are the worst thing i have had on my feet since early vapors they are that bad. Blister machines. Real disgrace to the Predator name

@@NoahCavanaugh is it gonna reach the levels of hyper venom and are they ok for wide feet; im rocking the puma ultra 1.1 in size 10.5; I love them because they are decently wide
take those tanks off your feet now. It hurt my eyes after seeing you tried out the Speedflow. Can you imagine, they are from the same brand?? you would think there is a "creative direction" from above governing - hey these are not good enough, go back to the drawing board. And being a product designer myself, sometimes we felt in love with a sketch and ended up forcing the product to look like the sketch and neglect about design is being problem solving, not about cool sketching.
I'm sure that's part of the issue! I'm also confident a lot more went into the design than that and perhaps they got caught up with a train of thought that neither of us would understand too! Eventually, the consumer always wins, so ideally they'd come out with a mid-cycle remake of these with a different upper and a better overall feel on feet! 🔥
