The Otava Singers are based in Toronto and originally from Ternopil in western Ukraine. They perform at festivals, weddings and other celebrations and events. They are singing one of their original songs - Ukraine is Our Land.
Гурт Отава є класний вокальний гурт базований в Торонті, оригінально з Тернополя. Вони виступають на фестивалях, весіллях та інших святах і подіях. Вони співають свою авторську пісню «Україна, це наша земля».

Святкування Дня Незалежності в Канаді організовується Конгресом Українців Канади (КУК), і ця подія в Сентенніял Парку в Етобіко (передмістя м.Торонто) відділом КУК-Торонто.

Ukrainian Independence Day is officially on the 24th of August, and was celebrated on that same day in Etobicoke (GTA), in Centennial Park. It was a very well-attended large event which went all afternoon and evening this year, with an expanded program and some special guest performers from Ukraine.
The event was organized by the Ukrainian Canadian Congress (UCC) Toronto Branch.
