    I work in a resale shop and we recently bought in a Danse Lente bag. I personally never heard of the brand but the bag definitely looks like a piece of art. This video definitely helped inform me about the Danse Lente brand, I might want to save up and buy it for myself now.

    So glad you mentioned Tod's. I know them for their driver shoes as well but their bags look so elegant. I'm surprised they haven't been pushed more. I plan on getting at least 1.

      Had to be done. LVMH have just bought into the brand watch this space it’s profile will start to go up. Rightly so their bags are beautiful and well made. Buying their bags is like being bitten by the bug!

      I really like Tod’s. Finally, I bought my first Tod’s in 2017 at a Tod’s Store in California. I’ve loved Tod’s since college, but I couldn’t afford them. Since then, I’ve gotten a 3 pre-loved bags, and their super comfy leather driving shoes, mules and a pair of sneakers. They make excellent leather goods!

    Anesu, I've been watching your channel for about 2 months now and you have been a treasure trove of knowledge. I follow some of the principles you teach, mainly bbbl(or bifl) and buying quality, under the radar items.
    So you mentioned Mark Cross in this video. The brand came onto my radar about a year ago and I really do like their designs. I just wanted to ask what you think of their quality and maybe compared to Delvaux, Moynat, Valextra etc.
    I have learnt a lot from both you and other viewers in the last few months. Please continue to do what you are doing :)

    • @SoAnesu
      @SoAnesu  3 роки тому +2

      Ooh wow thank you!
      Sure Mark Cross is a very old brand founded in 1845 and then closed down for a bit and then revived just like Moynat founded in 1849. It will be an interesting one and I’ll find a gap in my schedule to feature it as a VCR.
      Thank you for the vote of confidence and support x

    Thanks for this video. i dont intend to buy bags that is overpriced. Brand equity is something that is overdone. However I do like good designs in bags not necessary classic design in bag. I find that classic design can be boring.

    fantastic research - some I never heard before. Am a new subscriber. You should look at Manu Atelier, am gutted they stopped the hard demi lune bag that I found perfect for everyday essentials then there is a Korean brand that escapes me who designed a sort of round shape bag, very pretty although no idea how easy to get in and out! x

      Wear and tear is good. It’s an excellent brand I can’t really fault at the moment. Jil Sander is a higher level of luxury to Boyy but I would recommend Boyy over Yuzefi any day!

    I also like Aigner, the Bridge (I own canvas bag), Polene, Aspinal of London for their bags- all four IMO have good quality for their price. Cocinelle, Patrizia Pepe and Marc Jacobs bags are good too. I disagree about Mulberry bags quality - their hardware tend to scratch easily, their leather loose its shape fast and they tend to lack extra pockets inside - very impractical.

    • @SoAnesu
      @SoAnesu  3 роки тому

      I’m not a big fan of Aspinal anymore the quality has been disappointing of late.
      Wow I didn’t know Patrizia made / sold bags!
      I hear you Mulberry is not consistent I’m getting the impression their old leather was much better. Let’s see I’m currently researching the brand.

    Loved this but i wouldnt consider Loewe same as Ferragamo o Tods. Loewe's leather crafmanship heritage is very special and the quality is exceptional. I would say it's even better quality than Celine and Fendi.

    • @SoAnesu
      @SoAnesu  3 роки тому +2

      Thank you. I didn’t realise I had given that impression as this video is a continuation of what I have said in my hierarchy of handbags series. Loewe is considered the ‘Hermes of Spain’ and agreed is way better than Ferragamo and Tod’s but all three brands are underrated for their respective levels of quality within their levels of luxury more so Tod’s and Loewe.

    • @whatsilviadid3993
      @whatsilviadid3993 3 роки тому

      @@SoAnesu Agreed. Totally underrated. I think social media is saturated with Hermes and handbag lovers in general very much focused on the H journey. I sold my H iconic bags and love Moynat, Celine, Loewe and BV way more. Those brands dont make me feel that i belong to any exclusive club and i dont want to give the impression to any other women that im showing off status at all. I love quiet luxury 😍 Love your channel and im considering a bag of one of your brand recommendations Cape cobra . Big hug from Shanghai.

    • @SoAnesu
      @SoAnesu  3 роки тому +1

      You can say that again! Any direction you look it’s Hermès and LV.
      Wow that’s bold of you to have sold your iconic Hermès bags well done! It’s a tricky one when it comes to status and wanting to be noticed and rated. I actually think when you go for quiet, exceptional luxury you are on a different level of class and confidence you have gone beyond the need to be part of the crowd you are sure of your taste - my humble opinion.
      Aww I can’t wait for you to try Cape Cobra please let me know how you get on.
      Big hug back from cold and wet London.
