I remember my first time operating by my self. My sub driver was recording me but he never taught me how to extend the arm at first. I later caught on after knowing how the joystick works and was doing the hand motions in school as practice. I haven’t operated the truck since the summer of 2022. I was operating 1671.
He was only on my route for 2 weeks but I know where he stops with a buddy. I don’t want test my luck with my 2 new drivers as they are more stern. I’ll see if I can operate the truck in the parking lot. And just curious, have you operated a rear loader before?
