I've gotten 3 takedowns and I must say 2 of those I felt bad about because it was a complete accident the last one was intentional because a rammer tried to run me off the road so I took them out.
its nice to see people in the entire lobby helps each other grinding challenges. God I wish i have a lobby like that

5:00 One objective was for takedowns in A-tier races and the other objective was for racers in general.
*So about that thing back in the day where we said that Need For Speed was ruined becauce Criterion would take over which would mean they would turn Need For Speed back into Burnout again?*

Criterion/EA: adds Burnout features to NFS instead of making a Burnout game
Rockstar: adds Midnight Club features to GTA instead of making a Midnight Club game
Criterion trying not to turn anything they touch into Burnout
I basically did the F150 by ramming leachers in multi-lap races. So whenever someone didn't bother to move, I made sure to get some takedowns out of it. :-) But this is definitely more efficient.
Criterion should either
A. port a road rage game mode from burnout.
maybe a mode where there are guaranteed cops and at least 5 show up.
B. a bounty system where you can crash into an ongoing race like in rivals alldrive.
so, you can distrupt a race to kick some racers a$$ and LSPD can reward you
and you can count as a participant in said playlist.

but with real cars.
It's a common method for trophy and achievement.
Even the 8-person trophy on the speedlist is difficult to boost alone and you have to resort to group help out there.

Need for Burnout: Underbound Paradise.
The Regera has enough power and torque that if you have abandoners in your lobby at the start of a race, you can donut to get max boost and then head on collision them out
It takes about 30 minutes to complete for 2 people, just race with your friend, let him get ahead, you mostly just need 100-150 km/h depending on car, drive from behind, crash him, brake, do a burnout so you don't lose your boost, let him drive like 50-70meters, and again, so you crash your friend like every 5 seconds.
Easy peasy did that day 1
Once i finish the story and move on to multiplayer I will 1000% be joining the discord to finish these takedown challenges!

Apart from accidental takedowns, I usually get mine in circuit races on players that just sit at the start line.
I have the Raptor and the Bel air, i have damn good drift builds on 'em, and it's pretty fun

Yeah, I did notice how cars tend to roll and, more often than not, settle on their sides. Which is statistically unlikely. In reality, cars should settle either upside down or rightside up. but no. Time and again I end up on my side. Once a blue moon it lands right, and upside down is even rarer. Strange physics, indeed. Credit where it's due, they did make it better, though. Now, if it does end up on four wheels, there is no reset.
Oh it’s obvious that they accelerate the physics when you crash.
@@rexthewolf3149 So many glancing blows turn inexplicably into freeway pileups! It's what I don't like about crashcam cutscenes. We have no idea what would happen without the crashcam. But one thing is always certain: whatever would have occurred, it wouldn't have been that.

That's precisely how i did these challenge, my friend and i were taking down each other one after the other depending on who spawned behind, it was fun to be fair but doing those legit would be so cancer towards the other players
I actually got all of them already weeks ago, most by myself while I also managed to see a afk player in a circuit race and boom got it. Till soon one of them AFK Players actually noticed my plan and joined in to help each other out

tbh i like crash cams cuz they make it more realistic when u hit a car at high speed but cmon at lowspeed that makes 0 sense that u flip bc u hit them at 20kmh...

nitrous hit is a classic burnout 3 tactic. works almost every time
You only need to be going at least 75 The easier way to do it is to just reverse let the game reset your car so you can get the speed and afterwards just hit someone while they’re sitting still

Honestly this is something that would fit for burnout but it's a pretty annoying having to unlock cars again in multi-player separately behind challenges and stuff. It's put me off even continuing multi-player for now.

It really sucks they put cars behind challenges that require you to takedown other racers. Encourages dirty racing which sucks for those that wanna race clean. Its already bad enough with all the rammers that ruin races
