My wife and I enjoyed playing Animal Crossing on Wii while physically speaking to people across the country with with the Wii Mic. Fun times! Curious to see what Animal Crossing will do in their next games.
bulbinking that's amazing. I met a girl who lived half way across the country in wild world. We kept in contact for 6 years, started dating and I flew out to meet her. It was amazing while it lasted but that's long gone now. Long story.
bulbinking he is right tho. it was the worst. it was so limited. especially in multiplayer. every animal had to be in their house. only two people could be in a building at a time. it crashed a lot. it was slow. it was just bad. saying it was the best is biased and probably caused by nostalgia.
One of my favourite things about your change is the revolving door of guests. You are such a stand up guy that I could watch just you, but I really started becoming a fan once I saw you hanging with Kelsey, Reggie and others. Lots of great content and personalities! If I ever visit Seattle, I'm checking out Kelsey's store!
Look at those beautiful eyes. And a smile to fall in Love with. Long nice hair like a sweet princess. I also really love your voice and your T-Shirt is so damn cool. You know alot about games which is quite sexy.
I always find Kelsey to be so down to earth and easy going. Great video. Love the series, got a Wii U recently. Sucks that it doesn't have a legit AC game =( .
Animal Forest + came before Animal Crossing. Nintendo were so impressed with Animal Crossing, they ported it again as Animal Forest e+, and that’s the version with eReader support.
I'm a huge Nintendo collector (from the UK), and the only Animal Crossing game I'm missing (I collect PAL only) is the Gamecube original, because I haven't found a copy with the memory card yet. Got all the amiibo figures - now just to properly get into the very expensive cards!
I got Amiibo Festival for $10 from gamestop a few weeks back. It's a trash game, but for 2 amiibos and a physical game at only $10, I can't really complain.
Kelsey, you've inspired me. I pulled the trigger and ordered the Animal Crossing 2DS LL from Japan. I haven't a clue what I'm going to do with a region locked 2DS, or how the heck I'm going to play the Japanese version of New Leaf. But I'm a happy man. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
I have been playing Animal Crossing almost every day since I first started playing it on the Gamecube and it has become one of my favorite video game series.
I must say this as I cannot stress this enough! Kelsey DOES NOT HAVE A PROBLEM! She is so passionate about what she is talking about. I absolutely love her. Seriously, I am in no way shape or form interested in the Animal Crossing games. I dislike their style because I do not like Life Sims, but that doesn't matter because I was 110% completely drawn to this video and enjoyed watching everything that this girl had to say. She was so passionate about the franchise and I will tell you now that when she tried to explain about why she owns both english and japanese versions of games I agreed with her. I am the same with the games I absolutely adore. I like to try out all console various versions aswell as regional differences because I am a geek too, and proud of it. :) Love your informative videos. I want to see more of this girls passionate gaming topics.
+Charlie Ward lol dude, so some geeky girl talks about games is so passionate and genuine. But a very pretty girl talks about technology that's her jobs is fake and boring? Lol grow some balls nerd
Is there a video of her of yourself talking about those hard plastic sleeve/containers she has some of her games and console boxes in and how they fit so well for them? That interests me a lot for my small collectibles.
Wasn't a big fan of Animal Crossing, and recently I bought New Leaf just for my collection after watching this. I should have bought it a long time ago. It is a spectacular game!
Wish the MJR crew still did videos together. It’s been years! I’m pretty sure Oregon was the time we saw the whole gang together. Catch myself watching old gamer eats ep to get my fix! Lol

This was cool to watch, especially since I watched a Let's Play of New Leaf when the Amiibo Update was already out, and it's interesting to see how much of Happy Home Designer must've actually been carried over, apparently. Kelsey's theory about HHD was cool too and makes a lot of sense. When she started the sentence I thought maybe she was gonna theorize about HHD features coming in the Amiibo update, but the fact that she didn't gave me the thought that these features might've come as a surprise for a bunch of people. I mean, "Amiboo Update" doesn't sound as big as the update ended up being, now that I think about it.
Thank you for inspiring to restart Animal Crossing. I haven't played this game in years. I actually just ordered Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival bundle since it was very inexpensive to get now.

I really wished they would re-release the GameCube Animal Crossing with the e-reader content patched in like Super Mario Advance 4, or at least update it to work with the amiibo cards, I don't feel I'll get a full experience with so many things missing.
Animal crossing Wild world was MY JAM! I lost in and my mom found it in between our sofa and after that I was in love with it. I played it everyday. Thanks mom!
Animal Crossing is one of the few Nintendo series that I've somehow never played, even though throughout the years I've always wanted to try them out. Though I guess with New Leaf being 20 bucks new I should give it a shot soon enough.

Good video overall, though Kelsey made a bit of an error regarding the different versions of the first _Animal Crossing_ game. _Doubutsu no Mori +_ was the game that got localized into _Animal Crossing_; it was created as a port of the original _Doubustu no Mori_ with added characters and features, though it still lacked some of what would be present in the 2002 localization. I'm not sure why Nintendo of Japan ported the original game to the GameCube, though I think it has something to do with the fact that despite its good reception & sales, it suffered the usual problems that came with being released during the tail end of the N64's lifespan (I'd say it was beneficial in the long run, as _Animal Crossing_ [or at least the first game] probably wouldn't have come to the US if _Doubustu no Mori +_ didn't exist). The Japan-exclusive re-port of _Animal Crossing_ was _Doubutsu no Mori e+_, the "e+" suffix emphasizing the game's increased e-Reader support. I know this may sound corny, but I just love the way they interact. It's so respectful, this is a topic she is not only knowledgeable about, she's also clearly very excited to talk about AC and he just gives her all the room she wants, respects her excitement and is just happy to help her conduct. I've seen a lot of internet duos with no chemistry or where one partner takes all or most of the attention and this is a perfect example of how interaction should be. There are only a handful of Amiibos that I would be interested and most of them are now extremely expensive or very hard to find. The Isabelle summer outfit is probably the only exception.
Don't have that much merch of Animal Crossing myself, just some of the amiibo cards, two amiibo and a Tortimer figurine that I got gifted from Nintendo's convention booths but I got the anime movie from Japan which I really like and find it's a shame there is only just a fan translation online but no actual dubbed version that came over. It actually came with a Nintendo DS pouch.
I actually picked up the Japanese AC game at a small convention for $2-ish. It's missing the memory card and the cover is a little beat up. But hey, it was acheap and it is AC. Worth it
(I'm pretty much a newbie to this series) So a few years back, I saw the commercial for the Animal Crossing: New Leaf game, and I was like "looks like a cute game" And I wanted the game, but my mom didn't let me get get because it was too expensive (before there were any pre-owned AC:NL games) so maybe a few months later (maybe a year) we saw a cheaper price (pre-owned) and I got it, and after that, I was OBSESSED with the game! I'm actually considering on buying AC:WW x3
Kelsey ended up gifting me 300,000 bells so I could quickly upgrade my house!
it's a fun game, I played for about 200 hours

Im going to have to revisit her shop with this new found knowledge
Don't have that much merch of Animal Crossing myself, just some of the amiibo cards, two amiibo and a Tortimer figurine that I got gifted from Nintendo's convention booths but I got the anime movie from Japan which I really like and find it's a shame there is only just a fan translation online but no actual dubbed version that came over. It actually came with a Nintendo DS pouch.
Online play is still possible for Wild World and City Folk using both AltWFC for DS and Wiimmfi for the Wii.
I'm actually considering on buying AC:WW x3
my friend got new left and i didn't see him again
Love these videos. Keep em up MJR!
