Here is another early game tip: do work on getting a farm going. Start with cotton and keep adding stuff as you go. For feces for fertilizer (besides the outhouse), place a Capybara pen and get at least one female and male in there. Place the breeding farm too, which is used to assign a tribe member to manage the pens that you have. Besides the farm plots, you need the granary. You also don't want to neglect getting a bee hive started and also a couple of Monkey Storage Nests. This last thing is my main source of bananas.
@billwerth2 I'm going to do all of that later when I move my base. I want to set up in a more open locations so I can fit more stuff. I plan on doing that when I get the ability to make portals so I can transport everything easily.
Nice tips. Next step I think is to get your own player placed portal to put at your base so you can quickly teleport to other locations and back to your base too. You will find the 3 parts for making a portal and also the "crafting bench" for making it in the River Valley holy ruins next the River Valley Portal. I can see it on the edge of the fog of war on your map to the west. You will likely want to do that after you have all bronze gear.

@billwerth2 I've only done the Sabertooth boss. I did a video on doing it too. It was actually pretty easy. After the 3rd time I died I mean. 🤣 I have gotten further in this playthrough than any other and I intend to finish the game this time!
@@GamingandMore95 Ya, I played when the game first came out, about 6 months ago and then stopped playing. Only got as far as doing the first boss that time. This second time around, I have my wife playing with me. I hope to at least do all 5 bosses this time. I play single player, so set it to casual difficulty. That way we can have fun exploring and not worry too much about death. I currently have all iron gear. I found a location for early iron from a video. The iron from that location, the coal from the dungeon where you get the portal pieces.
@billwerth2 that's exactly what I did when the game came out. There were a ton of amazing survival games that came out then. I sunk a lot of time into palworld and enshrouded already so I'm getting back to this one. I also play solo and have it on casual difficulty. I have number of tribesmen allowed at the max which is 100. Bases are also maxed. Everything like that that matters is maxed. I also have drops doubled so I get 2× the loot. Cause I also like having a chill time exploring and enjoying the game but I get bored if I make it too easy so I kept the damage and everything the same for casual difficulty. It's still somewhat difficult. I'm working my way up to where the dungeon is. "I googled" thought I could take on the one claw tribe settlement camp up there to the left on the map. The big one. I made it to the center and then died. Multiple times. Will be coming back with better armor and weapons and trying again.
