If your going to demo a product, you really should know the product, like that the Roadhouse Strat has an S1 switch that switches the preamp on or off, and the middle knob selects the different (6) preamp levels.
Some are saying that the Mexican factory is making better products now. What you should be asking is the difference between the Deluxe here and the American special hss- the American special has an Atomic humbucker instead of the vintage twin humbucker you have here (not sure whats better) and has 2 texas special single neck/mid. position. and is $200 American more. I'm thinking this is just as good- that Vintage twin humbucker is sweet plus the noisless pups color is nice, I think theres a blizzard pearl that's insane looking!!!
That blizzard Pearl is very PINK in person. It looks more silvery in the pictures. I sent mine back and got the Roadhouse Deluxe and the thinline tele deluxe. I LOVE 'em!!!!
For all the armchair quarterback hair-splitters out there (and as the owner of two quality produced, higher line level Fender MIM Stratocasters; Classic 60's Player CustomShop-designed & outfitted, and a 2017 HSS Deluxe in the infamous Blizzard Pink) - Ensinada, Mexico assembly is roughly 70 miles south of the U.S. border, which of course utilizes a significantly lower labor rate. The Fenders assembled just across the border are fabulous products & values in their own right, assembled by very capable hands. And with ANY new guitar - get it professionally set up!!!!

S1 is a coil split for the bridge humbucker.
"Split" not "tap"..... :-)
I love mine

The deluxe bridge is smooth and stable?
