IRA connect is not available on Tigor. Just the software says its IRA connect but you cannot use IRA connect in Tata Tigor.. Push button start is always present in top model tigor
We are planning to buy new car for our family. 3 adults 1 kid. I am not a rough driver. We finalized 3 cars(Tiago, Tigor & swift), Can you please advice which one is best? Tiago is top selling model with 4 star safety rating. Swift is also top selling model, so there is no worry for spare parts and service in future. There is reliability in both the cars but Tigor is not popular and not selling more, little bit afraid whether Tigor will sustain in the market. I am afraid to buy Tigor because the model is not moving well. while compared to Tiago & Swift. But Tigor is more comfortable than swift & Tiago in price range too. I need long durability car, so kindly give clear idea which car to choose.
Tigor is based on Tiago and almost all mechanicals are shared. Both Tigor and Tigor are really best cars in their respective segments and price range. Go ahead with Tigor if you want more space and comfort. If you are ok with hatchback, then Tiago is the best. No point in considering Swift because of lack of safety, quality and advantages. Only advantage of Swift is Service network. Best go for Tiago or Tigor. You can also consider Ford Aspire.
I was seeing Fasial Khan's review and your review (obviously) on Tigor your feedback points were engine doesn't have enough power, also Tigor user's have commented that sudden overtaking is hard and engine seems to scream beyond 90 Kmph.
Even Though Tigor is not a driver's enthusiastic car, my on Tigor: 1. Whats your take on Tigors engine compared with Maruti's 1.2 dualjet VVT and Hyundai's 1.2 Kappa? 2. Can I trust Tigors engine for longer run? 3. Is Tigor's engine heavy duty (like long travel/hill rides?) and 4. How is the quality of mechanical parts used in Tigor (is it wearing out after some kms)
Tigor engine is equally capable as any other engine. The old BS4 Tiago/ Tigor engine was slightly flat in the mid-range. Didn't feel like an 85PS. But the BS6 is far better. The Swift feels incredible peppy due to the incredibly light weight despite the equal Power and torque figures. And yes, The K series 4 cyl engine is more refined than the Revotron 3 cyl. But There are lakhs of Tiago/Tigor owners who are happily driving in all conditions. The BS6 is much more peppier truly. Take a drive and feel it sir. The Tiago/Tigor are honestly better cars than Swift/Dzire.
I have Feb'21 model Tiago XZ plus Dual tone. I have sensor and tyre puncture kit.

If they would have update tigor door as like tiago without the pop up lock mechanism ... It could be so premium

You will get good rear seat comfort, Seats are wider and offer's more thigh support than it's rivals but leg room is little less.
