My grandmother traveled for 4 months by boat to visit mecca. Then was part of the first group travel by plane. Many pilgrims say once you are there you don't want to leave.

My Grandfather and Grandmother were gone to makkah in 1980s after traveling 2 weeks .The Hajj of this era is very different from the Hajj of this era.During this period, hard work and effort had to be done and the reward was also high❤.

I can't believe there are people who visit Mecca for once in their lives I am Saudi and I go to Mecca every two months and I feel that I miss it more than before I hope that everyone can visit it more than once in their lives 🤍

what year did the expansion started? cause it hard to tell since their where no tall minaret build by king fasial during 1950s expansion as this video show.
The 50's was when king Saud ruled. King Faisal followed in the 60's and early 70's I think the expansions started around those times, but then there was a big one in the 90's and the most recent one now . Hope to have answerd your question

Kissing stone isn't Basic for Hajj
It was probably harder. What you are seeing is a high end diplomatic visit from the Pakistani governer general and his wife. Shahbaz Shareef or Imran Khan can still visit like this, regular people can't. It is very important to keep this in mind in the age of generative AI and mass social media. This is a form of worship that is not considered wrong. Heads of state are not going there to worship, they are going there to make a show of strength. When we will be held accountable in the afterlife, no one will be with us.

Lies! Kissing of the black stone is just an ordinary ritual not the main ritual as it has been portrayed in this video. Pilgrims gather in this mosque as the God has chosen this sacred place his house on earth and commanded the believers to perform haj once in their lifetime. They don't worship to the stone or the black box. They worship to one true God who is the Lord and Creator of Heavens and the Earth, The All Knowing, All Wise.
Why do I need to go to Mecca to worship the one omnipotent god ?
