Animals do make life so enjoyable for sure! I found that when trying get your kitty to enjoy being around you and trust you, giving them chicken has always been a great tool to aid. I fostered for eight years and it was one of the most rewarding things I've ever done! The joy that they brings into your life is immeasurably. I would have people thank me all the time for doing what I was doing, but the truth was that I received so much more from their beautiful souls💜💖💜Adopting these animals and giving them a forever home is truly a gift all animals deserve. Thank you for giving your kitties a second chance in life. Without a doubt you are a caring ,loving moma to these kitties 💞💜💞❣ Thanks again for your awesome videos, I truly enjoy them!!! What a lovely soul you are💞❣
Awww, thank you so much for your kind words. I am such an animal lover. These two sisters were so sick when the foster family took care of them. And we had to medicate them for a short while after we got them. But they have brought such joy into our lives. The foster parents sent a packet of photos of each of the girls, which we just love to look at from time to time. And they're so therapeutic. ❤️. They're doing really well now.
Oh you did do a window pumpkin video! I watched it a thousand times. Haha. I LOVE them and I make them every year now too. Thank you for that!!!!!!!!!!
So glad that I decided to watch this video this morning. I love the way you teach, (like you are sitting next to me showing me how to make this very cute bird.) Thank you starting my day out with a smile.
Thanks for the shout out Lisa :) I just finished watching the video so didn't see it until now. Wear them and love them and when they wear out/fall apart, I'll make you another pair!
I check almost daily to see if you’ve posted a video! I’ve made so many of your demonstrations (I’m a giver, not a seller..just a hobby potter). Thank you so much, I look forward to more videos :). You’re a wonderful teacher.
Hi Lisa. It's so good to see you back. Your videos have been missed. I hope everyone within your family circle is well. I'll be making one of these cute little birds. I was wondering where the cats were, and then one of them popped into sight. Please keep the videos coming if you can. Take care 🙂
Good to see you back! I always love to watch your videos. I hear you about the lighting. I use a ring light gotten from Amazon that helps me a lot to be able to see better when I’m painting my pots. Thanks again for your videos!
@wildacornspottery I'm watching your mug doodling video and saw Millie lay in your red underglaze. I wonder if you brought out a shoebox, if she would curl up in it on your table. You know, "If I fits, I sits!"
I have missed you Lisa! Such cute birds. How have you and the family been? I bet the kitties are all full grown now! Hope all is well, so nice to see your sweet face! 🥰 Would love a pumpkin tutorial! 🎃
Thank you!! ❤️ 😀 We are doing okay. The kitties (or "the girls" as we call them 😀 are getting big!!) They are so sweet, we just love 'em! I thought Millie walked by the camera once, but it probably didn't show up, because I accidentally left the camera on the wrong picture size ratio. That's why the picture is so small. Oh well, I'll fix it for the next one. 😏 😀
Hi Lisa, I have missed you! I love watching your videos and am really looking forward to your pumpkin and Christmas tree videos. May I ask what you how much you charge for your birds?
@ginnymaurer2580 Thanks! The birds have been great. They sell really well! I think you could send me a photo via my Wild Acorns Facebook page, by messaging me. 🤔 Glad you're having fun with it!! 😀
Oh no. Maybe you could add some bisque mender to the underside of the wing and re-fire it? I've had that happen before. It's usually caused by not scoring the underside of the wing enough.
YAAAY. SO glad to see you back!!
Totally agree have definitely been missed!!!
Too funny. Thank you!!! ❤️. And thanks for being so supportive. 😀

Love your videos!!! You mentioned Christmas trees. Would you please make a video showing how you make them?
Hello! Thank you so much! Yes, I am going to do a Christmas tree video. Stay tuned. 😀 Working on pumpkins now. 🎃

Hi Lisa, I have missed you! I love watching your videos and am really looking forward to your pumpkin and Christmas tree videos. May I ask what you how much you charge for your birds?
Hello. Thanks for watching! 😀 I usually charge around $25 to $30 for the birds, depending on their size. Have a great day!
Love the bird! I’m still making gnomes from yesterday 😊. I’d like to send you a picture. How?
The socks are awesome! Wear them!!❤
@ginnymaurer2580 Thanks! The birds have been great. They sell really well! I think you could send me a photo via my Wild Acorns Facebook page, by messaging me. 🤔 Glad you're having fun with it!! 😀
I tried to make a red bird, but the wings popped off during the bisque fire. Bummer. Not sure what I did wrong.
Oh no. Maybe you could add some bisque mender to the underside of the wing and re-fire it? I've had that happen before. It's usually caused by not scoring the underside of the wing enough.
Thank you for the advice. I will order some bisque fix and try it. I’ll take more care scoring when I try again! Such a cute project!
