Primary Immunodeficiency Presenting with Neuropsychiatric Symptoms - H Jyonouchi MD, Synchrony 2023

Numerous inborn errors of immunity (IEI) have been identified in the past decade. Such IEIs do not always present as frequent infection, but often present with predominant symptoms of neuroinflammation and developmental delay, exhibiting clinical features that overlap those with autism. This session presents such cases of IEIs from Dr Jyonouchi's clinic. These cases may illustrate how closely the nervous system and the immune system interact.
