The judges took KSI’s hugging into account on the scorecards and it lost him rounds. He was just lunging in from the corner then clinch, ref breaks it up and repeat. has been said before but the total strike count was like 38 to 39 KSI. But KSI landed 19 of those in the first 2 rounds, as to where Tommy’s 38 strikes were spread out mostly in the last 4 rounds. So KSI won the first two rounds, Tommy won the rest. And with the strike count being so close what do we look at next? Damage, and neither of them did any visible damage. Then what do we look at? Ring generalship, and Tommy pushed the pace, dictated the pace, was the one walking forward the entire time. It was the right decision. Disappointed with how JJ acted after the fight

Tommy really seemed to get behind KSI's movements and attacks by the third round.
If the ref did his job and deducted a point for the clinch - it would've been a complete one-sided affair by Fury. KSI was gassed trying to keep Fury's body locked down in the clinch.

Tommy fury was definitely catching on / adapting by round 4, 5 & 6. (Hence why, even KSI recognises he won those)
It is also very difficult to dial in during a 6-round Boxing match > your opponent stays energised and can bounce backer quicker after making mistakes.
Making a mistake a the 12th round is way more brutal - and is where you'll see real punishment dished out.

the Ksi fight was more debatable in terms off who won but yeah Jake was actually boxing with Tommy Fury and not hugging and not throwing in the clinch. If you honestly rewatch the fight with zero bias Tommy won every round besides round 2 because of the deduction and maybe round 1. Tommy looked way worse than he did against Jake and Ksi Mr supreme cardio gased in like the 3 round, this wasn't a robbery it was a close fight that sucked no way in a legit scenario does this get overturned but it's Ksi and people love to suck him off.

Tbh I’m no KSI fan, couldn’t care who won or lost. But if you look very carefully at the middle scoring you can clearly see Tommy Fury scored an 7 on the first one which then got changed to an 9 and the second one got 3 different scoring and it looks like it was an 8 then ended up at a 10 to make the - 1 a 9. The question is was this the actual results before giving the final score or was it changed during the time of his deduction. This is why cameras need to be over what the judges write as it’s really dodgy how Tommy had 2 rounds of changed scored which happen to be right where he got his deduction. I don’t know, it seems really rigged from looking at it, and to be honest it should’ve been a draw, KSI got an undeserved loss.
I’ve been a long fan of ksi and watched the boxing match. Sadly I have to admit ksi has took the L and have a lot of reasons for it:
1) KSIs strategy was to prevent Tommy scoring points by clinching and sweeping and rough inside work to get points. He however did not have a offensive strategy, so the judges could have not looked at that favourably. Ksi clinching was taken into account and lost him rounds. He got himself into corners, clinch, ref breaks it up and repeat. He was anti boxing trying to get one punch and try win it. Tommy landed more clean shots and had better technique.
2) ksi landed 38, Tommy 39. Majority of ksis punches were in the first 2 rounds whereas tommys were throughout. Tommy was pushing the pace throughout and being the aggressor. Round 1-2 go to JJ and the rest to Tommy.
3) Tommy initiated most of the exchanges which led to clinches. He forced it.
4) The judges scorecard was added up wrong, they accidentally gave an extra point to Jj when adding up.
5) JJ clinched 49 x.
6) The commentators had to be on KSI side to save their jobs. Wade concept got fired for speaking his opinion.
7) ksi is smaller than Tommy so had more space to move around the waist in clinch.
As a ksi fan I was disappointed and ksi ego was too high. Tommy had always been humble as a person whereas ksi took the loss quite bad. All ksi fans instead of taking this negative should try and get ksi to see this as a learning opportunity and capitalise it. Rewatching jake Paul vs fury , jake Paul put on a better performance and Tommy fury was able to showcase his skills against someone who actually fought him

The last sentence you made is so valid. Tommy could not showcase much boxing ability with someone like ksi jumping around, overhand punching, then aiming for a clinch. When clinching, Tommy can't do much other than wait for both of them to be seperated but in the meantime, ksi is punching and so Tommy has to return the favor.

KSI got caught in the corner a lot and kept trying to do a warp around body shot to the left hip. The whole idea is that you can slip through and under (He peformed it very poorly though and thus led to a lot of clenches.) Though Tommy is definitely not innocent either hitting KSI with obvious cheap shots and some small, but illegal hits. Which were not deducted which makes sense due to the little affect they had. All KSI did was clinch the whole time it was clear Tommy was trying to box but KSI just wanted to hug him. This should just show how many levels above KSI Jake is because Jake went 8 rounds wasnt nearly as gassed as KSI was and he actually boxed Tommy and didnt just try to clinch the whole time. KSI did not get robbed if anything Tommy won by a decent margin considering he had a point deducted and still won.

UA-camrs extremely bias, almost like they had 0 standard for ksi so everything he did was good, but vice versa for fury, expectation were so high that not performing to how they believed he should lost him points Instead of his actual fight against ksi.

Here's the thing, KSI was hugging the man for the majority of that fight. Tommy was walking forward which gave him ring control, and Tommy landed I believe one more punch. You can't expect anything different in a six-round fight when there's only 30 punches for them to judge. There's an argument for Tommy's when, KSI win, as well as the draw. Just because he lost the point he still could have won four rounds, which clearly the judges thought he did

Clinching is there for when you’re trying to defend yourself you don’t get rewarded for constantly clinching when you’re initiating it for no reason at all and you can have points deducted for abusing the clinch. It’s very well known as “dirty boxing” actually so embarrassing for KSI to do that after all the talk.
Tommy started the hug fest in the beginning and that set the tone for the rest of the fight
There's mathematically no argument at all for the draw. Try and give a scenario where the result is a draw and you'll see it's impossible due to the point deduction, unless you'd award a 10-8 round (pre point-deduction) which clearly there were none of in this fight.
As if tommy didn't clinch half as much, he even initiated the clinch fest. Either way clinching is not illegal. Both were not great but Tommy is the supposed pro boxer. No one was expecting jj to put in a masterclass technical performance but everyone was expecting the "pro boxer" to actually run though him and floor him so early on. Besides it was jj's plan, to hit and avoid getting hit. which is fair considering he's at disadvantage in pretty much every stat (reach, size, experience...) And it worked as you can see tommy only landed one more punch despite throwing 35+ more punches than jj.
For me jj won 1,2,6 round whilst tommy won 3-4 and a debatable 5 round win. A draw at best if not a win for jj. But the fact it was this close is embarrassing

Watching back the fight clinching can be defined as a situation or move that occurs in a fight when one fighter grabs the arms or holds the body of his opponent. Both fighters tend to move a lot forward when throwing punches, resulting in the clinch yes KSI was at times hugging him but tommy grabbed ksi's one arm and kept him in the clinch just as much
this is why fights including influencers always end up being dissapointing

Lots of people seem to think that just because Fury is the better boxer, he deserved the win. That's ridiculous. Just like any other sport, the underdog somestimes creates an upset. JJ didn't do anything illegal, trying to clinch regularly. In fact, he clearly did it to work Fury from the inside. It was NOT to interrupt the fight constantly, he continously hit Fury while clinching. A lot of people inexperienced with boxing don't seem to understand that. I had the fight 3-3 in rounds and with Fury's deduction, JJ should have had the victory or at least a draw. I'm no fan of KSI but I've been watching boxing since the early days of Mike Tyson and I think it's a fair point to say that KSI was harshly rewarded.

Kudos to Tommy and Dillon for destroying the "Prime Card". KSI and Logan looked no better than mediocre, with one losing on points and the other match ending by DQ of the opponent. A lot of "Prime" money went into this dumpster fire, and now a lot of people regret paying for it. I hope this is the end of these events.
