If you are looking for the full deck guide/deep dive, it will be up in the 24 hours after this video is live! We wanted to get the vide out ASAP for those curious and even playing ProQuests this weekend.
The guy did 34 damage out of what I could only do about 6. What an absolute legend play! Of course it wasn't defended, but imagine this in an opponents last turn.
I honestly don't even know how to design a deck, and here you guys are talking specific metas, what cards will/won't work later in a tournament and why.... Really wish i had the time to learn the game as deeply as you guys have :(
Metacarpus is actually a triggered ability which triggers each time you play a card that deals arcane damage. You can respond to the trigger and hold it on the chain and decide what to do with it. It's just oft forgotten because people only announce it when it's relevant usually. Hope that helps!
@@ArsenalPass so in this case if you were to draw a red. You would not just pay for it correct. So technically metacarpus is always triggered when you play a wizard action card dealing damage but we're just deciding not to pay for it. Thanks for the video btw. Will try to bring something similar to my local PQ. Your combos in PT really opened my eyes. Another question. How do you deal with high AB how do you get them down to the lethal life points if most of your cards are the blue damages?
@@Liladre yip you got it on the Metacarpus trigger, exactly that. Ahh great question, it's a bit of an art but into higher AB you can side down on blues for cards like Emeritus, Snapback and Chain Lightning. I wouldn't go below 33 though. You just need to make the reds and yellows really work for you to chip them down. Then create a window with tempo to combo. Easier said then done, but very doable just requires reps.
You guys mention that it doesn't rely on low AB that much. Could you explain this part a little more? I feel like high AB on the Wildfire turn can simply full stop you harshly. Or Spellvoid with Shock Charmers. Do you disagree?
The text of Blazing says it's going to try to do 6+8=14, but then before it resolves, the text of Wildfire says to add in the +6 from it's original damage. 14+6=20

And it's up!!
Absolutely blew my mind seeing some of these plays from the Pro Tour, game has so much depth!

Very cool deck guys!, glad we had Oceania represented in top 8 with Sasha :)
He's an honorary Texan actually
Congratulations again guys, especially to Sasha

Great video. Still very new to the game so this was super overwhelming. Look forward to revisiting this video once we’ve learned more.
Deck reminds me of MTG storm deck. Loved watching this deck hum on coverage.
Long live the Kano King!
Wizards are going to become the new runeblade ;)
Kano will only get better lol. Can't wait to see what will happen post uprising!
Great video thanks guys
Winning thru AB3 was 🔥
Will yall try to get Alex vore on the channel to go through his deck?
I second this
WILD my guys. WILD
Can't wait to get blasted by this at my locals
*Individual results may vary. Success depends on effort and adherence to the program.
Fun stuff. I hope more people pack AB3 and we can get more characters some play!
can you show some games with this deck vs AB3/4 + crown etc?
One day I want to make budget flesh and blood content if it’s even possible 🤙🏻
Question, so we are allowed to activate metacarpus and not pay for it?

Yeah combo kano is cool and all but when is the combo boltyn video coming out? 🧐
If the primary purpose of Tome is turboing through your deck, why not just use red whisper to go through 4 cards instead of 2?
Whisper is a whiff on Kano turns (especially the combo turn), where as Tome actually nets you resources.
Oh no mister wizard
can someone help me understand what "Packing A B" means?
Playing Arcane Barrier equipment in your list :)
Nice
Help a dummy like me out. If wildfire is 6 and SnapBack is 8, how does blazing hit for 20?
Blazing Aether (6+8) +Wildfirebuff +6 =20
The text of Blazing says it's going to try to do 6+8=14, but then before it resolves, the text of Wildfire says to add in the +6 from it's original damage.
14+6=20
Let’s gooo
So as long as the combo deck ISN’T Boltyn, it’s ok. Got it. Jokes aside, sick deck and awesome performance!
KaNo? KaYes!
Isn't emeritus a real word? Check pronunciation on that. (at least the American pronunciation of it)
Yes, it's a real word.
Always love a good Kano. But honestly I’m just a guy who gives bad takes about decks he has no idea about lol
Ngl, I did 51 damage on my opponents first turn tonight at my local armory...
Spindle OP
What do you call a fish with no "eyes"?
Fshhhhhhh
