Marlon Jackson is the 4th eldest brother out of The Jackson's, formerly known as The Jackson 5!
He and brother Michael Jackson were the youngest members of The Jacksons, and Marlon chats to Steve Crabtree ahead of The Jackson's show at The Piece Hall in Halifax, England on 24th June 2023 - and talks about their 59 years in showbusiness, how they came to wearing those suits in the early days, and about the buzz of still performing all these years later.
With hits such as I Want You Back, ABC, The Love You Save, I’ll Be There, Santa Claus Is Coming to Town, Never Can Say Goodbye, Maybe Tomorrow, Rockin Robin, Blame It On The Boogie, Can You Feel It, and a whole load more, the Jacksons have done their bit for Tamla Motown, Disco, Soul, Pop, and fans all over the world for nearly 60 years. Thanks Andrew. I wanted to talk to him about life as a Jackson sibling, and about the group as a whole - with the interview being a lead up to a concert they were about to perform. That said, I did want to subtly bring Michael in to the conversation, and felt the nicest way to do that was to mention he and Marlon's mischief as kids, and it seemed to go down quite nicely. I really appreciate this comment, Andrew - thanks so much for leaving it :) Steve

@@stevecrabtree3906 And I got to actually MEET Marlon in December of 2023 in the lobby of the hotel across the street from the concert venue. Along with Jackie. Two sincere, caring gentlemen. I cannot speak highly enough of them.
My reaction about Marlon looking good is that we are both cancer survivors. I was following his recovery which occurred a few months after mine. I wrote an essay about how the Jackson 5 music helped me find joy during the grueling treatments and shared it with Marlon an Jackie. And Marlon looked and acted GREAT!
Marlon looks wonderful! So happy to see him back on the stage with him brothers.
I enjoyed this very pleasant interview with suitable questions. Marlon, you look fabulous! I love how you always glorify the Lord in interviews unashamedly. Great job, Steve, and thanks for sharing this. Both of you were so well mannered, courteous & respectful, which is often a rarity these days. Jermaine saying Marlon was a better dancer than Michael is literally one of the most preposterous things I've heard in my entire life.
