This was the businesses that stole land/business before DR gained it's indepedence from Spain the 2nd time in 1865 . Some believe this was the 'real' reason he was Unalived & propaganda was spread to remove him from power. CIA definitely had an influence in it all. Crazy conpsiracies.

Jewish Lobby owns it. Thhe lobby make companies public, then as a group buy out all the stocks to drive prices of the stock up, and then make ALL THE gains for that small group of people through the consumer profits coming back to the company through the shares....... I've been trying to find their annual sales reports but can't find it. Living in DR for years, I know the sales have to be MASSIVE. "Ambev" owns Presidente and the Jewish Lobby's investment group controll the shares of Ambev. Eventhough it says "Belgian - Brazilian" families own Ambeve, I recognize their last names through personal encounters. Jewish too. And nothing wrong with Jewish people owning what they want, but I think people should be more educated on the effects of being EXTREMELY loyal to brands owned by outside entities. It's best to break the chains and do something new every 5 years. There's a book called "10 Commandments of Black Economic Power" I believe...... It explains things brilliantly. These companies can offer us jobs but to give us a job, that means they usually know they will make 100% ROI on our time/energy for doing nothing but using the funds famliies gained from pre-indepedence days. DR is Dominican but it's a part of the Diaspora. Just as the Jewish have their Diasporanns (but they work together). We neesd more highlighting of Dominican business and a cultural awareness on the importance of teaching youth to work and buy things from Dominican businesses. Then the global diaspora needs to put it together on a higher level.

Very well made the documentary of the richest men in the Dominican Republic with the exception of when you are writing down their worth.
