Glad you enjoyed it! Their agent's address is one option, there are also online communities featuring address databases with statistics on return rates. They typically include forums where you can read about the successes other TTM collectors are having. One of the most popular sites is StarTiger. (Thanks to DougzInBoston on Twitter for the heads up on StarTiger). Sportscollectors has a great address database but is geared toward sports.
I'm not familiar with Ray Lewis habits through the mail but he isn't known as a generous signer. He's a big name who undoubtedly gets a lot of requests. Best to stick to known signers (I keep recommending SportsCollectors but they have a great database) and younger players (i.e., it's easy to get a superstar's autograph before they become a superstar).
I send to mostly retired players. I feel those guys are the best signers. I know too when sending out ttm requests that you want to have realistic expectations by avoiding the mega stars. You aren't going to get a Ken Griffey Jr or a Hank Aaron autograph ttm lol.
A lot depends on the signer and how much mail they are receiving, their schedule, as well as their signing habits. The fact is, you may never get it back. In previous comments I've suggested some resources where you can get feedback from other collectors on how long it's taking to receive responses.
I know this is an old video but I need advice. If you send a baseball to get signed and it comes back not signed. Do you try again and how long do you wait to try again.... thanks for any advice
@coolmickcool There are so many answers to that question :) I suggest checking out the SportsCollectors site which has a fantastic database with success rates and a board segmented by sport (plus one for celebrity) to discuss returns. Worth the investment. Thanks for the comment.
If you include a personal present to the fan you are after ,this give,s you a 90% better chance for return, Portrait,s or small drawing,s or get them during a birthday or special personal event,Home made card,s home made envelope,s and keep away from fan club,s best getting Home Address, But do not waste your time with Fan,s who are valued at over £500 price list,
I'm a little apprehensive about TTM autographs because it turns out most of them are signed by secretaries. The only way true collectors get autographs is in person.
Keep in mind that TTM autographs are usually signed by secretaries. That being said.... it still fun to get a response in the mail. Sometimes you get a nice free photo with a secretarial signature.
Yeah your high volume/big star ttm returns are likely ghost signed, autopens or pre-prints. The ones that require a fee for an autograph are unlikely to return a fake auto. Most celebrities and athletes just trash their mail instead of sending back fake autos.

Awesome video, Matt. If I'm sending a photo to an actor/actress, where would you find an address to send the letter to? Their talent agency?
What’s the best way to ask if you don’t want the autograph personalized?
Since I sent ray lewis a card and I sent it to their training camp do u think he will get it

How do I send from New Zealand to USA? What stamps do I need and how many per envelope ??
PLEASE REPLY
My suggestion is to take your item and SASE to the post office and ask them to weigh it.
Matt
Daniel Frame the amount of stamps depends on how heavy it is
