Not to be dramatic but I hate banning. HATE it. I regret moving here every second of every day. Curse the day we came house hunting here. I try to manifest EVERY DAY that we will make it out of here 😢
@@LIVINGINSOUTHCALIFORNIA Banning and the neighboring city of Beaumont made plans to build in the area 20 years ago. They zoned out the residential and commercial areas but they never included additional infrastructure. For the past 20 years, homes in the area have been built super fast here. They even bulldozed part of a mountain to make room for more homes. Yet, Banning and Beaumont have refused to address the addition of more streets, street widening or more freeway onramps. For the last 2 decades, Banning has seen the traffic build-up 100 fold each passing year but has never started any work. All the city council does is says "things are getting worse," but the new road planning is never put it on the city council agenda. When a new council comes in, they blame the past councils...and then they too do nothing. Now with so much construction taking place, they've actually consulted with an agency about fixing the infrastructure. Problem is, that it's 10 years too late. The agency Banning contacted said it will be another 8 years before things are better because of high population count now. Also, none of the street lights are synchronized. There is traffic on the streets from 7am-8pm every single day. Warehouses do bring jobs, but these are not career posts. They are simply low paying jobs where the employee turnaround is in the high 40% every year. Nobody gets rich working in a warehouse except the company. In Banning, they've decided to welcome the construction of mega warehouses. So now, all those people who originally moved all the way out to Banning to escape the noise, pollution, and sight of DC's on every corner are now waking up to the sad fact that they're right back in it again. Also, the Banning city council has approved a new 600k Warehouse to be built in the middle of a residential area. The city approved the warehouse during covid, when no residents were allowed into the meeting to speak against it. Because of the uproar, the city council months later decided to have a meeting where the residents and the construction company could address the matter. Ultimately, even with all of the residents hollering to not go through with the plans, the council again approved the warehouse. The construction company informed Banning that they will not provide any money to widen the roads or make the building more hospitable. Now, Banning has plans to construct a canabis warehouse on the other side of the city that surrounds another residential area. Banning boasts that it's the fastest growing city in California, but because of the mess that the Banning city council (and Beaumont CC) have created, Banning is going to ultimately turn into another San Bernardino
@@LIVINGINSOUTHCALIFORNIA Warehouses are not a living wage💵💰💵it would take 6 warehouse income's to buy a house 🏡, and many job's won't go to citizens in the community, they will be out sourced to other folks coming into Banning! And the citizens of Banning will be left with the air pollutants and more traffic, because the Mayor of Banning is incompetent in her decisions! Banning dosen't have a bright 🌞 future with the economy in the toilet 🚽🪠 and bad leadership! Banning has high crime!
@@LIVINGINSOUTHCALIFORNIA Warehouses mean POLLUTION. Massive solution right next to a vulnerable elderly population. Do your research before you spout nonsense next time. We are talking about large trucks idling 24/7. Houses are relatively cheap, but crime is high and the Police Department is useless. Pollution is already in the dangerous range every single day for half the year. Plan to get evacuated regularly for fires and floods too.

Traffic throughout California is bad, not just Banning. Warehouses means jobs, jobs bring people, people help build a thriving economy.
