    Suggestion: ALWAYS choke-up on everything. Quill as far up in the head as possible, drills only out as far as they need to be plus slight clearance, end mills as short and locked in collects as possible. Your vise isn't locked down properly either, use all 4 lock down bolts in the corners from now on. Give your vise some love too. Check it for fit on the movable jaw, the tighter, the better... The name of the game with any machining is "rigidity" of everything. Do these things and you'll get better results on solid operation of this hobby grade machine. The machining here is highlighting all of these missed basic machining practices and NEVER put your hands near a spinning cutter like that again as well as always wearing your safety glasses when things are spinning or chips are flying. I know you've been getting blasted for this, sorry, but those of us who do this type of work a lot or professionally for a living know what can and does happen. Nuff said on that...

      Thank you so much. Your warnings are really admirable. I understand you. The first time I took the machine, I did such work. Of course, without taking any precautions. Now I'm not doing anything more regular and without glasses. I've had problems a few times. I wish you a good day.

    The store told me L.O.R means spindle rotation direction (Left rotation, OFF, and Right rotation).Recommend use in Right rotation.If you follow 'break in' procedure as recommended then the noise from gears is much less. It lubricates the gears - run 1st 10 minutes at 500, 2nd at 1000 and 3rd at 1500.So 30 minutes of careful 'break in' and the machine is ready for use.Also DO NOT remove safety guard...

    • @paktukiman542

      The break in procedure is for first time use, or or shoyld it be done on every fresh start in the morning?

    Hi, have you milled any steel with the BF20?. I'm now looking for a mill and these are available in New Zealand.

    Une vidéo de tout ce qu'il ne faut pas faire .C'est a dire , éviter de travailler en avalant , il faut bloquer la broche et la table sinon c'est comme l'entend très bien , ça vibre et c'est très dangereux , surtout sans protections . Enfin je n'ose imaginer l'état de surface dans ces conditions .

    I'm talking about the switch on the box off to your left.It has L, O and R, which I thought was forward, off and reverse?I don't understand how this works as a fastener/clamp???

    • @mrgreat925
      @mrgreat925  6 років тому

      I just got the problem. The LOR key operates as a potentiometer. It is made of two position potassometers. Potassium meters function as cycles and switches. If it is on the milling cutter, it acts as a switch.

    • @poruatokin
      @poruatokin 5 років тому

      It is simply a switch for Left Off Right for spindle rotation

    Hello I´m about to buy the BF20 VARIO is it too noisy as it sounds in the videos? Do you consider this a hobby or a professional machine?

    • @mrgreat925
      @mrgreat925  6 років тому

      Actually, I use it in my house. The video does not bother people like it is on the videos. This professional is this machine. It really delivers excellent performance. I have been with you for two years and I am very satisfied. I use it in my hobby. You can do anything you want.

      L O R switch to secure the piece I fastened to the clamp to a clamping jaw. If the lower part of the milling cutter is empty, the part may slide down, so I inserted that key.

    devir yavaş birde çok fazla titreşim var bu şekilde parmak freze çabuk deforme olur.

    • @mrgreat925
      @mrgreat925  5 років тому

      Tabi devir önemli.titreşim aslında yeni aldığım bir makine olduğundan dolayı masayı alt tabakalarının montajını yapmadım ondan dolayı titreşim oluşuyor. Parçanın sertliğine göre devir sayısı değişir. yada freze pens takımına bağladığın ucun çapına göre de devir sayıları değişir.onlara tabi dikkat ediyorum yoksa freze kesicileri ve freze göbeği çok deforme olur. yorum için çok teşekkür ederim. başarılar dilerim iyi günler.

      aslında bunu yapar isen sesi minimum düzeye getirirsin alacağın frezemasa ayaklarına altına motor bisikletlerin iç lastiğini kesip ayaklarını altına kuçuk parça şeklinde bırakır isen ses çok az çıkar kimse rahatsız olmaz ben böyle yaptım hiç sıkıntı olmadı. kestiğin iç lastiği ikiye katla ayakların altına bırak daha iyi olur

    • @mrgreat925
      @mrgreat925  7 років тому

      aynen öyle yapar isen daha sessiz olur tabi frezeyi alırken frezenin içindeki dişliler hasar görmemeli step motoru iyi çalışması ve X Y Z eksenlerinin kızaklarında bir hasar veya boşluk olmamalı birde frezenin kızakları dişlilerine bak gereken yağlanma yapılmış mı bu çokk önemli. bu söylediklerimde hasar yok ise çok güzel bir freze alabilirsin o zaman. şimdiden sana başarılar dilerim:)
