    The V13 would be my pick in this comparison. The BV1's highs don't sound as smooth and have a slight harshness that emphasizes sibilance.

    They both sound nice. I own the Avantone CV12 (the Taylor Swift mic). I purchased the C414 XLS last last year. My next mic will hopefully be the Roswell Audio Colares

      @@PharaohLawLess1 yes, and with clarity, inspired by the 251, but not a 251 clone. Has more low end than a 251 IMO

    Hey Czar. A good solid comparison. I’m very interested in the Vanguard actually, but I do hear what I think might be quite a lot of self noise… Am I right? Thanks.
