I appreciate your videos sir... From Northern Ireland. I was trying to learn Peekaboo myself many years ago but stopped in favour of the more traditional boxing style but I'm trying to re-learn it and use it as either my main style or as a secondary. Thank you.
I’m tired of channels discouraging the peekaboo bc they say you can’t be like Mike. Of course you can’t be like Mike but you can still learn the peekaboo from the ground up.
Can you make a video and explain the fighting stance in this style I think that the normal fighting stance in the traditional boxing style is more balanced
No the way peekaboo works is the square target that you use to slide if your in southpaw it's harder to slip aswell as defend peekaboo focused on 50 50 defense and offense

Your Videos are getting better and better! Keep up the great work! Don’t forget Kevin Rooney coached mike too. I’m sure you knew that but he was a big part of Mikes career.
Kevin Rooney actually took over for Teddy Atlas as Mike’s trainer once Teddy left the gym. Over the years, my trainers have told me the reason that Kevin didn’t produce any fighters is because he brushed over the basics and never knew how to fully teach the style. Kevin was more of an instrument in maintaining what was already built with Mike. Teddy was Cus’s protégé when it came to teaching the style. That’s why I mention Teddy so much! (Also, thank you and Colby for the mic! Appreciate it.)
@@peekabooboxingacademy You’re so very welcome. I personally know Kevin Rooney. I actually beat his sons ass in that ring when I was younger lol. I understand why you don’t bring up Kevin. I’m gonna stop down at the gym and meet you one of these days and we’ll discuss more. I don’t wanna put dirty laundry all over the Internet. Keep Creating the great videos!
Very impressive work, brother! I’ve been looking for this channel all my life... Cus D’Amato is watching and is proud of you! The torchbearer..
