Do riders prefer movement ability OVER protection when it comes to gear???

The first couple generations of Flexair was the best gear for tall guys. Would love some TLD but it just doesn't fit.

And gear that doesn't turn to crap after 5 rides or 1 crash. Bring back the gear from the early 2000s to 2015.
