I haven’t tried a whip and I usually didn't use anything that would make much noise or get them riled up which makes them harder to load especially when I was alone although I have used a flag but that was just to sort or group them before I loaded. I just kept a hot shot in hand but didn't use much unless necessary. If you get a stubborn one it's about the only thing that will persuade. Hope that helps but it really comes down to the individual and what they're comfortable using
When you go to load the belly instead of closing the door I always throw the floor door first, then they cant fight you as easy. It’s always seemed much safer to me doing the four door first, hope it helps, good work!
Some good X cows😂. Wait till you got some XX or XXX. When they can barely walk and you know as you’re loading it’ll be a real miracle if they walk off.
Yeah me too and I hated it everytime. I remember back in the 90s when veal growers still implanted growth hormones, that was bad hauling back then. 600lbs bodies in little more then weanling legs.
Christ that’s dangerous, working on your own, I know you jump up on the rails, but you only got to slip one day, and it will be on you before you can pick yourself up,............ be careful 👍👈
Well that bull is one stupid fighter don’t trust that one. Holstein cows our more tamer than the other cows never have problem with them unless they have calf. Jersey cows our tame but the bulls our mean. Plus black angus bulls do get rambunctious sometimes but being coop up in pin now where to go they get Feisty
Another fine job, you be safe out there. San Diego way
Thank you
Got a few questions I load with a whip .what's your opinion on that mind you been hauling 16 years with that in mind????

No particular reason I guess just my routine. I don't haul cattle anymore or I'd give it a try but thanks for the tip. Be safe

I've had many of those. I've had them go down in the doorway and not be able to get back up. Had to put it down and move it out of the way

How come there’s never a drover too help you load
I picked up anytime day or night before or after sale day so usually no one there to help. If I did have help I normally didn't record

👍
Mob size is way too big!
Assuming you mean the 14 bulls on the bottom, if I split them then I have to go down in the bottom with the bulls to gate them. No thanks
