Your "apprentices" can actually mine Moraka, and all the other alloys that you can find in the mine when you go there. If you set them to mining gold, occasionally they'll mine the other stuff from the gold area instead, and that includes Moraka.
That's the witchiest hat that a witch did ever wear. I'm fairly sure your landlady increased your rent to 40k, not by 40k. Still, added to your loan repayments it's a lot of coppers. Grill says "RNG is on my side" and I'm like "Oh no, Grill. What have you done?"
Parrying consumes durability off your weapon and the opponent's weapon, making it possible for one of them to break. If you have a high durability weapon (like I had an axe with 300 durability) it's useful to put them on parry to break the opponent's weapon, if your weapon has low durability you will want to dodge as to avoid your weapon breaking. That guy on the hill of the ancestors can recruit soldiers for you in exchange for 100 reputation (the stars you use to buy skills), but they are no different than the normal warrior slaves you can get from the slave trader. The smash rate affects your damage and damage on equipment when parried, if you have lots of smash damage you will deal a lot more damage to your opponent's weapon during parry (possibly breaking his weapon). That's what maces/hammers are for. SpellGaze Ring gives you +5% everything, it's a help but not too powerful. Terasect Ring on the other hand gives you -50% in Health for +50% Attack Speed, Attack, Parry and Dodge. I won pretty easily every combat using a Cila Hammer and the Terasect Ring together, it's pretty OP if you like gambling and powerful attacks! From my experience the easiest way to forge blades to 100% (99% red) is to do a pass hitting every part of the blade with auto-hammering big swings until 90% on every piece and then I go manually small tapping the blade into 99% red. If you want to see if 99% red or 99% white counts as 100% just make a pommel and a guard on their respective parts and inspect the hammering quality of the blade after it's done.
if you tipped the boy enough befor the end of chapter one, things change.. in the arena i found the tamara armour has a negative to speed so i made an axe with good speed, it helped a lot. also since you have decent dodge and parry id just leave the bar for that more in the middle. that was how i completed the first arena stuff
Grill, i found a sweet and fast arena weapon for you to try out. suvarna ore (1 copper + 2 khanka for 2 weapons) emerald handle 9.2 to 9.6 cm (design of 12cm) hollow ground fuller + lightning potion pommel 6, guard 24 (super light) total weight 0.79kg on design. 3rd halberd (looks like a spear head) piercing damage 288+, and fast enough for a chance of stun locking those that block.
For the "helper" weapon I did a lot of trial and error. Best weapon I was able to make is a halberd. Moraka ore (halberd with 30 piercing), emerald tree (12cm), lightest pommel and lightest guard. Quenched with air. This weapon creates a weapon with +442 piercing, 57.93 speed rate and 190+ durability. Your helpers will become unbeatable.
i found that you need a superlight weapon, i made a sword with 300+ cut rate and good speed rate, so much better :D also, if you can, with 6 soldiers you can do the fights at the hill of ancestors, you can win 500 rep at each fights !
@@stoli756 yes, you buy them at the same place where you buy regular slaves, they just cost double. Later in the game, in the hill of ancestors, you can have them for 100 rep :)
14:00 I took a different way of paying rent with Griana. We gotta do what we gotta do LOL and it saved me 20k and I dont thin rent was raised. She never told me that anyway. Oh well... back to work :)
40:10 I feel like your weapon is a large part of the problem. The length/weight is probably making him too slow and inaccurate. Try a shorter handle or lighter weapon and i bet youll do way better
maybe you can try reloading the save and choosing different dialogue options with this last customer? I'm pretty sure you can get her to ask for a silver weapon
i should preface this with 'I don't actually know, i don't own the game', but have you tried the manner in which you're cutting the wood? maybe it's similar to the taps, and requires a certain technique. try slower, longer cuts, particularly at the split timing, who knows, it might work. But I did try to figure it out a few episodes back with one of your previous successes, and honestly, i could see no discernable difference in your method.
From someone who owns the game, depending on how much you move your mouse from side to side the more inaccurate it will be to that side. Doing a perfectly straight movement awards you with perfectly-sized handles, but for the slaves it's way faster to just cut them a bit bigger and with improper form as you need many of them. If you have a PC strong enough to run the game I supper recommend, it's super fun and the money helps the developer work more in the game!
I'm digging this series Grill! Between the videos and the comments I've learned a lot about this game 🎉
Steve running to the middle of the enemies was the best thing I've seen today

Also, if you don't know what a stat does (like smashing, speed and durability you can just hover your mouse over it and the game will tell ya)
Algorithm, ol' girl shoulda taken the blade. Trust the blacksmith with the library.

There is a weapon scale to hammers. Its bashing. Less likely to be parried.
The girl refused the sword because she told you it had to have a specific cut rate, not because of the material.
Always so nice to wake up to these. Love that the lore is so uniquely self contained.
Nice thanks
Could you look to get some new Hilt decorations? Options are always nice

I'm curious about the red coin. I have mine up because at the time I only had 45k and thought they would take the 50k if I said that
❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
