- Welcome to the first episode of my brand new Career Mode on FC 24! After so many years of wanting to use this team, it's the absolute perfect time to finally give them a go! FC Koln of the Bundesliga may be considered one of the biggest clubs in Germany based on 'fan membership', but it's been a long time since they were competing for major honours. Two Bundesliga titles but none since the 1970's, and four DFB Pokal's but none since 1983, means it's been over forty years since this club last tasted success! Currently sat in the relegation zone, the Billy Goats are on the brink of dropping into the second tier so desperate for a change in fortune... and the most difficult thing? They're serving a transfer ban for the next two windows! So in season one, we'll not be able to sign any new players to help us get out of this difficult position. If we're going to strengthen the team, it'll need to be done through the youth academy! 🙏🏻
This is going to be a super fun project where we primarily focus on our youth players and look to rebuild this team over time, trying to take them to the top of Germany and eventually the world too. Leverkusen might be the new champions, Bayern Munich might be the most dominant side in the country, but it's time to begin our long road to glory today! 👍🏻

This save really has been a long time in the pipeline so super excited to finally start with a team I've wanted to use for years! Perfect time due to their potential relegation at the end of the season, German football now looking super strong with two teams in the Champions League Semi's and one remaining in the Europa League, and of course Leverkusen now emerging as the new champions of the Bundesliga after their win on Sunday. Oh yeah, and the small matter of a TRANSFER BAN meaning in season one we can't sign anyone, and it'll just be all about youth players. So excited to finally give these guys a go, should make for a great Road To Glory! 🐐❤
Wow this is perfect, I recently went on a school trip to Köln and started a CM with them as well! They’re such a cool team in a beautiful city! Already love the save!

Can you please sign a player from Kazakhstan? You previously said that you are making a conscious effort to sign players you haven't used before.
Super excited about this one. I am from the U.S. but I live in Köln. They definitely need a rebuild. Would love to see some young U.S. talent as many youngsters from the states have played in Germany!

Scouting ideas for next season gotta be Austria or Switzerland so many talents in Germany from those nations!
Plus both of those nations speak predominately German. Belgian and Dutch hot prospects would go to better clubs.
you can trigger the loan to buy for all 3 loaned in players because despite the transfer ban köln are allowed to sign those 3 on a permanent deal.
Give Diehl as much game time as possible! He’s a super talent with great CM potential

I signed Julian Hettwer from Dortmund II in my Düsseldorf career. Played him up top and he was my leading scorer in every season.

No wonder I just smelled very strong scent of Cologne because he got three Youth Players that had 94 overall as their maximum overall straight off the bat and now this is it guys, brand new RTG Series by Docks but I'm also love the massive potential of this save
I’ve never in my life gotten that great of recruitment and you get it in the first month
I was in Koln in January 2022 when they beat Werder Bremen 7-1. The stadium was breathtaking and the atmosphere was immense! It's a shame that they've struggled so much since then and I hope that things improve in the future as Koln is a beautiful city full of lovely people, I will definitely be back over to watch a game soon.
As a Dutchie... Begin this season I went to fc Koln against Hoffenheim and it was one of the best ambiance I've seen in a stadium!

New scouts are always on the first day the new career mode starts. So in the first season it's on a Saturday, second season begins on a Sunday and so on. So the refresh is every Saturday the first season.
Thielmann is an exceptional CAM. In my save I converted him and he was my best player by far
it's great to stay local but its always good to send a bundesliga scout to the states!
hey docks, with the injury to Huseinbasic you may consider utilizing Dejan Ljubicic as your CDM. You may not expect it since he's an RM in the game but he can be deployed pretty much anywhere across the midfield. He has played as a CDM for Koln in the past. Incredibly versatile player and great for a lower/midtable Bundesliga side.
