This made my goddamned day. Watching you guys play league together will always trip me out a bit, like an unexpected time gate. Of course, after the initial fuzz I'm headed straight in because fuck yeah I've missed hearing the other cg crew. Growing up with not too many friends, I got so much mileage out of you guys" videos, from gaining confidence in talking with others to just learning what it's like to create an accepting environment and community (except when Jim is gross). Love all of you, and I mean from the bottom of my heart. Thank you Dave for doing what you love, and for letting us watch all these years.
@@MrSHURIKENCHO when you're playing by yourself, yes. When you're in a call with your friends, I'd disagree with you there. Yuumi isn't an easy champ if you are trying to proc her passive like you should be, people just think she's brain dead cause if you want to do nothing all game, you can.
@@Spuzie In general tho, Vel'Koz is still the same and fills the same niche as he did before. There isn't really a new champ that is as much like him as someone like Lux or Xerath. Vex still has quite a bit of poke and nice combo's tho, so you probably will appreciate her. I think Zoe would be a better fit. Still, I'd recommend ANY OLD CHAMP YOU LIKED PLAYING as they are still there ;)
Spuz venturing into league once more, so nostalgic! Midlane is mainly a mage meta right now due to the new item crown of the shattered queen, with Viktor and Anivia as the most potent picks. I'm having alot of fun with Viktor especially, he does alright in most lanes and scales well!
I remember your last few league vids where one could really tell you’ve had your fun with the game but you were just done. I feel now that its just a casual game for those nights with cg there is so much joy in the way you talk and communicate with eachother and I am here for it! 😃
I think Yakub has a point here, Sp4zie. It does fit your 'modern Veilkoz' criteria. She has angles, one-shot potential, a fun kit to master. 10/10 would support his suggestion.

I remember when you first went back to league, it felt like if you thought that if you played it you would be trapped and forced to play it and nothing else again. It was nice watching the stream and see you just treat it as just another game to play. Always love watching all your videos but the CG farts in league with their chaotic 1 brain cell energy will always hold a special place in my heart.

Hey man I started watching your videos back in your LoL phase because my best friend wanted me to play LoL with him and thought your videos would convince me. I hated the game and barely ever played it but loved your videos! Now 7 years later I still watch all your stuff but I've gotta say LoL has gotten a lot better from a casual player perspective and I find myself enjoying it much more than back in the day. Wish you all the best!
As some others here in the comments say. Most of us are here for YOU, not the games. But having been here for most of the journey, It really shows how much more you and the CG's enjoy coming back to League after a long break from it.

Just like old times to be honest. Its just fun to watch with you and the cg and all the special effects added haha. Its what got me hook to the channel, the league videos with CG. Juat legit funny AF and entertaining. Make you feel like you're part of the cg nerds. And I never played League at all. Okay maybe I played one game against bots using velkoz and stopped playing after I sucked at it and just watch instead hahaha

I've definitely followed Sp4zie through all the years of him doing other things and they've all been awesome and fun and funny, but it's definitely nostalgic and awesome to see League again. @Spuz, you don't play that competitively, right? That's what we miss and love about this. When you play with CG it's just so random, anything goes, lose or win it's alright. We're in for the fun and I hope that you're having fun, especially when you're with them. For League not to be boring at some point, I guess you should mix all the modes with CG. SR>ARAM>TFT>Rotating GM. Especially TFT, just let chaos ensue and destroy each other's plans. :p

As a fellow Vel'koz main myself. I'd recommend Vex, she is a midrange mage with a good ingage, frequent fears and a STRONG burst.
