It's funny because right now I'm working on being more open to things I'm afraid of and I was just at a high school play and beforehand they asked if I would mind coming on stage and doing some of the audience participation. All my life I've had horrible stage fright which is the reason I quit some things I loved (piano lessons, dance classes) so my brain was like "NO NO YOU HAVE STAGE FRIGHT TELL THEM NO" but then I remembered being open and I said yes. I did it and I felt awkward and my palms were sweating but... it was ok. I leaned toward the dove and not the serpent and it made me feel free.
