      You're wondering why Glover stopped moving his right arm? JBJ disfigured Glover's right shoulder with that shoulder crank 1:11 min. into Round 1. Glover fought him for almost 24 minutes (4 3/4 rounds) with just his left hand. Watch the fight again - Glover stops striking with his right hand shortly after the injury. JBJ is a dirty fighter who won't hesitate to injure his opponent - eye pokes, knee kicks, shoulder cranks. Glover had to undergo a surgery after the fight.

    • @noahbailey5445
      @noahbailey5445 7 місяців тому

      @@MrLeiduowen knee kicks and shoulder cranks are legal. Eye pokes are dirty, but the other 2 are fine. The objective is to inflict damage, Jones is a master at that. I agree that the eye pokes aren’t great though.

    • @MrLeiduowen
      @MrLeiduowen 7 місяців тому

      @@noahbailey5445 Eye pokes aren't illegal but they are harmful and give the fighter an unfair advantage over their opponent, let's put it that way. JBJ often comits fouls believing the referee won't punish him for that. This is what Teixeira said after his fight with JBJ: ""I was a little afraid to close the distance and get poked in the eye again and maybe stop the fight. The second eye poke really scared me because I thought it could hurt my eye. I knew I was losing the rounds but we always believe that one punch can change it, but it’s hard to do it when you have to worry about getting poked in the eye." It's up to your judgement if these eye pokes give JBJ an unfair advantage. Sometimes, however, referees will intervene, which results in disqualification. This happened to Jones in the Matt Hamill fight and would have happened again in his fight against Anthony Smith due to JBJ's illegal knee. What saved Jones' ass was Smith's request to continue the fight.

      What makes Jon Jones the best fighter ever and the ultimate goat, steroids or no steroids - is that he beat every one of his opponent in their strength.
      Glover in dirty boxing, Lyoto in striking, outwrestled DC, outwrestled Chael Sonnen etc, intentionally.
      Meanwhile Khabob and the other "goats" (mainly wrestlers) basically only does one thing - dry humping their opponents to victory

      @@nr1NPC That's what I am saying. People don't understand the greatness of Jones. The thing that separates him from other greats is the longevity. Even dominant champions who looked unstoppable have fallen. Usman, Volk, Adesanya to name a few. If Khabib had stayed long enough maybe some unknown guy could have defeated him. If Jon would have left the game after 13 fights who would have the most dominant resume. The Glover fight was his 13th fight in the UFC. Not even a scratch till then.

All the P4P #1s when Jon isn't active e.g Islam, Volk, Kamaru, etc don't have any unique skill which they've displayed that Jon doesn't possess. He has been showcasing his P4P skills & prowess for over a decade, he's the tried & tested P4P King when he's active. This was Glover when he was the undefeated killer on an insane W streak that they tried very hard to get from Brazil to the US, but this is just one of the many elite fighters, champs, legends & HOFs that Jon went through.

    thats why hes the goat. its not just his height, reach, strikes, grappling, its all of that plus the ability to utilize every part of his body. how many fighters throw constant elbows when in elbow range, axe kicks, question mark kicks, roundhouse kicks? its all that being thrown at you and that makes it hard to even try to adjust to. you never know what's coming at you. prime jon was so great to watch, 5 rnd fights of action.
